This guy is so humble, even when things are complicated and in shambles he continues to smile and move forward. Absolutely epic

What separates Mat from everyone on that start line is that no one else has the courage, the knowledge or the relationship with their dad to rebuild a V12 that was essentially on the scrap heap. These are priceless memories stemming from a father/son relationship that the world needs more of. Love your work guys.

110% DDE had a hell of a time as well. This I think was most definitely my favorite gumball. So many over came hardships and we're triumphant threw the hard times and did the impossible. I love what you guys did . legendary

But to be fair Gumball can't be blamed for breakdowns etc. (or the stupidity of DDE bringing a car over knowing it had issues) Equally the rally is mainly for the entrants who have each paid £50k+ to enter not people turning up for free in car parks

Absolutely, it is rare to find a mechanic that doesn't get aggravated and lose their patience at some point working on a car - Rainman Ray is the only other guy I've seen who is like this too, because that certainly is not me! The times I've sent a broken part, broken tool, or random expensive wrench flying into the night are countless and I think almost every mechanic reaches this point sometime, where you just have to go away from the project then come back later...

The laugh from his dad , OMG when it happens it is fucking priceless. Respect.

Taken me a while to realise but I think the reason you're so much better than other youtubers is the way you speak. No words are wasted. Very clear, easy to listen to. after watching Shmees gumball journey i was left feeling unimpressed, like yea it’s cool to have 6 cars and to have all those rich guys have fun talking about who’s gonna get the biggest ticket etc.. But Matt’s trip to gumball is so much cooler and rewarding. All the troubles he had to go through to make it there. Literally working on his car right before the race start. That’s the real spirit of Gumball. I think him and his dad will never forget that experience unlike other participants

Was a pretty arrogant approach from both you DDE guys. He’d rebuilt this with his dad and put in a lot of effort to be there with what ever he could at short notice. Definitely was not a very supportive approach towards mat. Have watch you guys for quite some time but don’t think I’ll be bothering anymore after seeing this.
