You’re the king of convincing me to read a book. 😂

Sword of Kaigen is one of the best books I have ever read. The author, ML Wang, is literally god level writer. I remember crying for hours and hours while reading that book, the epic fantasy is fucking EPIC. That book deserved that expensive cover. The writer deserve everything good in the world. She is just an amazing writer. No praise is enough for her. I can't believe she publish her writing on her blog chapter wise for free?? She needs to be paid in millions for her writing.

Wow. Every book in this series has a 4.5 or 4.6 on Goodreads, with a couple thousand reviews. Between that and your hype, I'm definitely intrigued.

Elias if you love Mother of Learning you will be OBSESSED with Lord of the Mysteries. Its a reincarnation webnovel set in a Bloodborne-esque world with a magic system loosely based on Tarot Cards. It has PHENOMENAL characters (the Tarot Club will be your favorite found family) so mamy shocking events, insane worldbuilding. And honestly terrifying antagonists. PLEASE do yourself a favor and read Lord of the Mysteries

I, too, fell down the Royal Road rabbit hole. I had to join an author's patreon because the story left off on a cliff hanger and I couldn't wait. 🤭 Glad someone's talking about webnovels on booktube.

I loved Mother of Learning, and I would like to reccomend a timeloop web novel series that I personally think is even better: "The Perfect Run". I'd argue it's got better writing, pacing and humour, and I really like "MoL" so I hope you give it a try. To give it a blurb, the main character uses his time loop powers ina a semi-postapocalyptic world with superhumans to live through a situation multiple times with multiple aproaches looking for his 'Perfect Run'.

MOL and The Perfect Run are my two favorites on royal road. I completely agree that perfect run is better time loop story, the best of this genre that i have read so far.

can’t believe you are reading this! I started this series in December and the first two books was likely the fastest read i ever had. I am still on book three after three months simply because I am afraid i will 100% fly through the last two books and my happiness will be gone lol.

I love a manic 20 minute book rec. will definitely check it out

Little Mushroom, Lord of Mysteries and ultimately Omniscient River Point of View are other novels that I 100% recommend if you enjoyed Mother of Learning!

I read mother of learning a few years ago and had a similar experience! It's so good and engrossing! I've always loved time loop books and had such an enjoyable time reading that web novel. I've never seen anyone talk about it before, I'm so happy you found it!

@@elliassorry for the lateee reply! But I’m literally in a slump for abt a week now since I’ve finished the MoL 😭 I wanna reread the whole thing so bad. It was sooo good, I miss the characters and the “Zorian’s eyes abruptly shot open as a sharp pain erupted from his stomach.” sm. I’m so disappointed on how small the fandom is tho, when I try to find edits or videos abt MoL on yt or TikTok, nothing shows up ☹️

Mother of learning. Insta classic for me. This book will always have a special spot in my heart. 10/10 must read or listen to.

You got me interested so I checked my library and they don't carry the books. But the funny thing is, I'm Croatian 😂

I’m def gonna give these a go. My introduction into this genre was Dungeon Crawler Carl, it’s my favorite thing to happen in fiction.

Ellias I want to thank you for hyping up Robin Hobb’s books - I read Assassin’s Apprentice last week and it was like someone hit my reset button. I think I had forgotten just how beautiful fantasy books can be. I’m so intrigued by the Fool. Needless to say I ordered the next two books in the trilogy and am waiting for them to arrive lmao. its genre is 'defined' as YA but i kinda see it cross over into adult but considering how long our characters are stuck in the time loop for (maybe mentally like 100+ but physically 15/16)👀
