I am SO RELIEVED to see you liked Children of Fallen Gods 😅 I quite enjoyed the first book and am starting bk 2 today ahaha. Looking forward to the plot and relationships to develop a bit more. The first part of Bk 1 I just couldn't stop imagining Max as like a very old man with the looking over the glasses thing lol. 👻

Just finished this new, original collection of fairy tales, entitled 'Sillies, Fancies, and Trifles' - it was phenomenal and just perfect for the season. What's everyone else reading, I want some more recommendations to add to the lovely ones here. Keep up the beautiful videos :)

Ugh it's so frustrating reading multiple books in a row that you don't like, especially when you think you'll really like them and they aren't just random pickups. I'm so excited to read the Daughter of No Worlds series now from your review haha

I tried reading White Horse and didn’t get very far before my DNF. Divine Rivals was one of my favorite books last year! Under The Whispering Door was so freaking sad and also wasn’t a complete hit for me. Hopefully February has a lot more 5 ⭐️ for you

Yes, "This Wretched Valley" was such a letdown. I wish people would stop pushing it as Survival Horror, it is so much more a supernatural story and I disliked that so much.

Yeah, it's not even listed as supernatural on goodreads. I still would've read it, but with much lower expectations since supernatural doesn't always work well for me

nice! I also read 12 books and close to 5k pages.. I hope I can do that every month 😅 if only they let me physically read all day at work lol

That would not surprise me at all honestly. All the reviews I saw were from before release and they were allll 5 stars. I was so confused😅 but the average on goodreads is way different now. Such a bummer!!

Who loved This Wretched Valley?! WHO?! Because I DNFed it not even half way through 😂 And oh yes, White Horse is so random. I still don’t understand why the main character went to the Stanley hotel. I was so confused when we ended up there. I was like, did I miss something?! 😂 But I enjoyed it overall! Probably a 3.5 ⭐️ I loved it for its dive bar vibes. Bad Cree is so dreamy and sweet!! I just wish there was a little bit more substance there. I think I teared up at one point toward the end!

Okay people were LOVING this wretched valley before its release, every review i saw on IG and netgalley was like 5 stars but it's goodreads ratings are very different now 😂 much more accurate imo 👀☕️ White Horse definitely had the dive bar vibes!! Yeah a little more substance would've probably made me connect to bad cree a little more. But such an interesting premise!
