Ay my guy! Just watched the podcast you did and he talked about this reaction so i went to look for it. Thankfully it randomly appeared under the podcast cause i didn't know about this channel. It got 10 k views! Thats crazy. You keep doing what you do, your in for some big things. Alot of us like you videos... This is just one example of it..

The first time I heard this one, I wasn't shure either I liked it or not. Well now it's one of her best for me. But her best song is often the one I just played. This reactor got Angelina under his skin the hard way by playing this as one of the first reactions by her. It was very funny to watch it and then think back on some of my own first views of Angelinas great singing.

I venture to say that with the 'rasp' and fry like' soul Angelina is able to display in this Etta James classic, had it been done at The Apollo Theater in Harlem, NY, she would have garnered a standing ovation from the toughest critics of soul singing on the planet. It boggles, the mind that she is able to command excellence in so many different genres, and to do this without setting up a professional, studio enhanced setting as she decides to try out a new 'mike' while sitting casually on a sofa.

Yes, this is what happen to me too. It takes a while to get back to my old self again just right after listening to Angelina. And I can't say that about any other artist. So what is it that Angelina does while singing? I don't have the words to explain it, but her songs hits me with a magnitude never experienced before.

Nice and fun choice to react to this reactor, Debra, he has recently come to know Angelina and, like you, he reacts viscerally and loves the same songs that Angelina has chosen for her covers. He hasn't made many reactions yet, but they are all very heartfelt, he also made a video just to explain how he felt with Angelina and that he couldn't react if not like this. Beautiful, Deb! I saw his video and was hysterical watching him. And now, with you doing this, I relived the whole experience all over again. This video ranks right up there with 'I Put A Spell On You'. Not to say which one is better but rather to compare them because of the uniqueness and shocking style in which she sang. You are so right about our reactor friend! All of us should picture ourselves doing a reaction while the camera is on us and, you know what? You'll be reacting just like he did. Our only question is will he be able to survive more of Angelina without concerns for his health or his concern for breaking more furniture and audio equipment!

That was priceless like you said and he posted a video shortly afterwards, "We have to talk". It was 15 minutes after this reaction and said, "I'm still feeling it in my chest. Luckily like the other one I did it 2nd. When I react to Angelina in the future, she will have her own day, I can;t react to someone else when I react to her"! It was another priceless reaction. Wonderful, every time she sings captivates me completely and i end up in tears. Not bad tears, good tears. She is superb. Love her to death.

Angelina sings from her soul to our soul. And you so beautifully recognize it and celebrate it. To you see watch someone else who was impacted on that level- is soul nourishing.

I have watched Angelina sing this over 50 times and those last runs break me down every single time. When she leans into the mike it is earth moving. I love both reactions here. Seeing Truedarkseed lose it makes me want for all us fans to meet up someday and share the love.

Yes it's true, TrueDarkSeed, you and I, all became Angels right away. Within a 2 week period I had listened to everything I could get a hold of, the more I learned about her the more I listened and of course she became my favorite singer way before I had listened to everything out there. I may have heard Etta James perform this song in the past but didn't really hear it. Last year during the pandemic I listened to a recording of Ms. James performing this and really listened, I fell in love. Surely no one could bring tears out of me like that I thought. Then I heard Ms. Jordan sing. You could hear the same pain and heartache, tears started flowing. She hasn't suffered the same anguish in her few years on the planet. How does she bring the same emotion to bear? Is there no song or style she can't perform? Whatta gift!

Hello Art Medina. That is one of the Amazing things about Angelina. She understands how to make these lyrics come to life and make you feel what they intend you to feel. And as you said, she is able to capture these emotions without ever experiencing them. That gift of hers is truly incredible.

I've seen 100+ react to Angelina, but no one likes him. Like you, I had to watch it several times because I could not get through the song without laughing so tears rolled down my cheeks. But what makes it even better is how genuine his reaction is. Do not think he thought of camera or anything, it was so spontaneous. It’s been a tough week losing our blind rescue dog of 14 years then a former co-worker. Watching Angelina and a few other of my favorites helps smooth the mood. We have a new Angelina angel joining our ranks. I had the same reaction watching him lose it listening to Angelina and blow his mind.

When AJ hits that one “bbaahhhbbyy”, channeling all of Etta’s absolute anguish, and he jumps up saying “no, no, no….”, it just brings tears of joy and laughter to me every time. He just couldn’t take it….just couldn’t allow that power to enter his soul without being prepared. He had to stop and collect his own raw emotion. Hilarious and so beautiful at the same time. Wish more men could allow themselves to even get close to experiencing and appreciating that kind of music…true expression of soul. Thank you for featuring his reaction. Gives me hope!

Hello Debra. You know, the very moment I saw that you were going to react to another reactor, I KNEW that this would be the one. As you've subscribed to him, I'm quite certain that you've seen his two "Let's talk"s regarding Angelina as well. Too bad his schedule only allows him to react to her once a week or so. Andy, I agree with everything you said, and it applies to all young artists including Angelina. Since she wants subscriptions to her channel as all reactors do, endearing the fans of the artist will create more loyalty and subscriptions. I've come across quite a few fans of various artists that will not subscribe unless the reactor takes these suggestions to heart. It is a win-win situation to make this the routine. I can say that those reactors that are promoting the artist in this way have been quite successful, and the numbers are increasing daily. If she would want to support the artist verbally instead of visually, all she needs is to request the viewers subscribe to the artist channel, and like and comment on the original video.
