🤮 time to find a new stream for a little while.

I raged so hard in Final Fantasy Tactics on that Wiegraf fight. Every battle with him is ridiculous with his OP holy sword abilities but I too fell victim to saving before he morphs and not being able to beat him.

GGG isn’t a stranger to alienating their own player base in pursuit of making the game more difficult. They’ve said “git gud” plenty of times. PoE 2 will be no different lol. Those who can’t play it will go back to regular PoE or play something else.

I'm looking forward to the 8 hours of d4 s4, i get more time out of a d3 season, they went backwards.

The FinalFantasy thing happen to me, i thaught what a garbage game, it is still garbage to me.

5:53 isnt that why poe1 exists? They know their vision appeals to the extreme minority, you can see this with their poe2 alpha test league, ruthless.

5:50 same as PoE 1's history. Even if PoE 2 is a good and hard game, what stops it from going down the same path as PoE 1. Slowly but surely becoming bloated ezmode slop.

"You're not supposed to play what you want" is such an L take. We can customize the whole fucking game however we want but when it comes to builds there is like 5 that are viable (and affordable). I really think build diversity is important. People need to be able to play what they want or the simply wont play the game.

Saying there's only 5 builds that are viable is such a disingenuous argument it's insane. Build diversity and how affordable they are obviously matters, but at some point there needs to be builds and how affordable they are on both extremes on the spectrum. Being able to cruise T16s can be achieved with about any skill out there if you know what you're doing and aren't trying to fuck yourself over. I know someone will find some obscure skill and say it isn't viable at all, but you get the point, a huge majority of the skills can do most of the content. Now, if you want to do bossing or juiced content/t17s, then you obviously have to min-max your build a bit more, and some of them more than others, while some just never are able to reach that stage. As GGG have said multiple times, people need to "git gud" - while they obviously try to cater to a big audience, they still hold the player accountable for their (poor) decisions and isn't trying to hold their hands at every part of the game. The fact that you can do all kinds of wacky things but all of them might not be viable is definitely part of their design philosophy.

@@FedbergRoland dude any build can farm T16 maps. I'm obviously talking about T17s. If you want to farm efficiently there is no way around T17 map. Also: there is no 'get gud' in this game while mapping. Your character can either do the content or it can't. With the visual clarity this game has in juiced maps you are lucky if you can tell where your own character is.

@@xXxPhil03xXxI mean thats just wrong. You can always position better, or kite a particularly overbuffed rare better, or press your life flask at a more needed time. Besides that, skill gap in POE is not just determined by “gameplay skill” in combat. There is also the secondary scaling of “strategy skill” which involves the micro changes you make to your build that either you think are better or more fun and how those changes balance against their effectiveness in combat.
