  • @markmoon9024
    @markmoon90244 ай бұрын

    You present yourself very well, obviously very knowledgeable. Financially better off, looking at clients that can’t train for long periods of an hour i.e. rehabilitation of hips shoulders knees only manage 3045 minutes. This means you can charge a higher rate for professional service for short period of time in person.

    There really should be a personal trainers union to protect workers rights and pay when your employed in a gym or at least financial support when your self employed. Because any beginner cannot afford £600 rent space from the start. And I personally would start online training first (get results from your family and friends) then go from there.

Also trained as a PT and have worked in gyms as one for a number years. Do I use Zoom like I did during Covid, also the marketing side. I have a website which need s a facelift but does it's job. great video, just a question. How would you go around doing Pt sessions if you're not employed by a certain gym? I've heard that some gyms can even ban PTs if they notice they are coaching there without paying a rent. It's the one thing I am trying to solve, as I want my own clients without working for a certain gym, possibly use multiple gyms, therefore paying multiple rents would be a struggle

    Hi mate, no problem! You can learn a lot from KZread alone to be honest! Also through following people in your field who produce good content on social media. If you want to be a Personal Trainer you will need a level 2 gym instructor and level 3 Personal Trainer qualification. There are plenty of other platforms which will cost you but you can learn a lot: - PT Collective - N1 Education - The Muscle Mentors - The Hypertrophy Coach - Mac Nutrition Just to name a few there for you mate!

    It's allowing more freedom for himself and his own personal goals, what's wrong with that? As well as being able to work with clients who he wants to work with rather than anyone willing to pay him £30/hr. Far more enjoyment working with more advanced clients, getting great results, building a great portfolio showcasing transformations and eventually be able to charge a lot more for his online service. So, in the long run he'll be able to have more freedom and will be earning a lot more money. Also, the security of always having an income. If gyms shut again, he can't PT.

  • @Jay-ho2zd

    @@curtisfawcett as a passive income why can’t you do both? Why can’t he target the clients he wants to work with through PT he picks who he trains? Why only charge £30 when you can charge £45 plus?You can work with advanced clients doing PT? Why does making yourself a full time online coach make you more money... rather than doing both. Honestly have a think what you are writing it doesn’t make any sense. What I’m saying is that he isn’t in a position to be able to make any real money from this he hasn’t won shows, he hasn’t got a big following, he hasn’t got an outstanding physique so people will not buy into it. Think about it he needs 30 clients paying 100£PM to bring in 3k a month which is still under national average and that’s before tax... not going to happen! Finally how is online coaching any more secure than PT lol?

  • @curtisfawcett

    @curtisfawcett

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@Jay-ho2zd Because he still needs to pay off £600/month rent so you'd rather get any clients just to pay that off rather than be picky/choosy. Plus, I doubt many members would be willing to pay £45 for an hour's session in a commercial gym they're paying £20/month for whenever there's other PT's in the same gym charging half the price. Easily within a year of focusing on his online business, getting great results therefore being able to charge more he could easily earn more from online coaching alone than he would on the gym floor. Why do you think majority of PT's go to online once they have enough numbers willing to go online? Don't see any online coaches moving back to working on the gym floor.
