What year was this filmed? Where are they now? I tried looking up Bigfoot, but that led to a Facebook page where posts ended in 2014 and the chalet didn't look like theirs. I'm dying to know what happened to them and the French chalet! Side note, if it were my business, I would not have included dinner. The town has a ton of restaurants. Cooking a dinner for all guests is way too much if you aren't trained chefs. At the least, they should have hired 1 cleaning person to help and 1 sous chef to help prep ingredients, clean dishes. Also, buy 2 dishwashers for the main kitchen.

These people are very brave. This was filmed back in 2003 and as of 2020, I found reviews on this Chalet and it’s owned by Gary and Helen. Not sure what happened to this beautiful couple. Looks like they got more than what they bargained for.

@@user-tq9yu9zu4b LOL. I suppose being almost 80 years of age, I have enough wisdom to know to do my homework before leaping off . I ALSO would have strongly considered my parents getting older and needing help. To my way of thinking, they are self-centered. Also, what about their own health needs. Or working themselves to the bone when all they had were starry eyes. I think if I had done this, my first step would be to move there and rent…..and work for a couple of years. Get a feel for it. See how many times they can AFFORD to go home to visit parents as they get older. How much they can put away for retirement. Whether they are accepted or not. Ohhhhh, just myriads of thoughts.

Poorly prepared. Could have been taking French language lessons and cooking classes before they went over.🤔
