I Quit 😢(featuring Jayden Arnold)
Музыка
The fact Jayden is only 19 makes me sick!! I'm both amazed and disgusted lol. You ever just don’t even want to play a song anymore because you’ve heard it played so well that what you’re playing feels like toddler music?? 🙄😭😭

I love the way you highlight other gifted and anointed musicians, all the while knowing that it doesn't take a single thing away from your own musicianship and ministry. #maturebeliever

I'm not nearly as good a musician as either Kevon or Jayden, but I can relate to Kevon's reaction to Jayden. Back in the 90's I was honored when I was asked to play at a friend's wedding. I practiced the songs he requested and I received a lot of compliments on my playing at the ceremony -- I started thinking I was pretty good. Then I went to the hall where the reception was being held and I saw a kid about Jayden's age at the time there. He had just set up to play some background music. He sat down at his Suitcase Rhodes, pulled out his fake book, and tore into the Crusaders' "Street Life". He played tunes that put my repertoire to shame and showed me what a hack I really was. I went back home feeling like a kid who had just mastered "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star". So I definitely know how Kevon feels.

Jayden is a serious beast. Since he was four. Now this is a glimpse of Heavenly music.
i'm more impressed with his MANIPULATION of the organ (moreso than actually playing)... there's a lot going on: - volume control with the foot - tone/timbre selection (he clearly has a couple of favorite settings memorized; and this is the most daunting part of organ playing and the part i dislike the most, lol) - chorale/ensemble/rotary control (nice timing for mood and effect) - improv playing and overall coordination (because all of this on the fly isn't easy when done manually) overall, excellent organ player... would love to see him play Blues or Jazz~ :)
He set them keys on 🔥🔥🔥🔥
That is, hands down, the coldest organ solo I’ve ever heard. And, I grew up around musicians. Just his use of color, phrasing, and placement. WOW!! Thanks for sharing, Brother Kevon. I appreciate your gift and unselfish spirit. You share your amazing talent as musician/composer/arranger with sincerity and comedic timing. Peace Love Music

Jayden is a child prodigy, he started playing at 4! Even when he was younger, his approach to playing was always cool and calm. I love watching the evolution of young musicians, like Corey Henry (keys) and Tony Royster Jr. (Drums), you just knew they would develop into super beasts!!!

Wow! This Kevon Carter is simply the best musician/humor channel I have ever seen! He can FEEL the Music in a way that conveys the same feeling to me as I'm watching the video! The two times in the video where Kelvon felt goosebumps I felt it here too, just by seeing Kelvon getting up from his chair, at 0:49 and 1:10! Kelvon manages to convey the emotion and feeling of each chord! Here, from Brazil, I send a big hug and thanks to Kelvon for the excellent work he does on KZread, transmitting healthy humor and also musical techniques!
I ain't never heard nothing that marvelous from a organ.
Kevon, I can definitely relate bro. I play keys too. When I look at Cory Henry videos I have those same thoughts trying to play behind what I've seen him play. That's a cross between Moses Tyson & Billy Preston! But that's the way it's supposed to be. Who ever you grew up listening to, you take on some of the great things you love from them. My young ears were tuned to organist: Rev Charles Nicks, Billy Preston, Thomas Whitfield, Alfred Bolden & Craig Tyson. My piano loves was Timothy Carpenter and jazz, Ransey Lewis & George Duke.
When I grew up this is how the organist played yes LORD. Bless the young man and you. He is anointed.
😂😂😂😂 thanks Kevon you give us crazy laughing !! You really know what pianists feel!! How we feel when we want to learn.

Never quit bro. Always be the best of you because there is someone out there admiring how good you are. We are all have a measure of gifts. You may be better at others things than he is when it comes to music...(composer, engineer ect..) Just use what God has given you and it will bless others my brother. I know you might be joking but I am really saying this to younger people who may feel like giving up because they don't think they are living up to someone else's potential. I have been there. It's not about them, it's all about you. What God give you, it's good enough.
Killed it.
0:28 I'm done LOLOLOL
You're the best Kevon. You're a major component in music. Your humility, humor, love for God is unmatched. Thanks for brighten up our days bro

Don't compare yourself to anyone else. God gave you a unique voice, to lift up someone else. And there is a music group that needs your piece to fit into their design. And plenty of people out there, looking for live music, to uplift their spirit. I'm talking secular and church. I would say, it's the chord number system opens you up, to hear and play, a broad range of music.
You are too funny, because you were making me want to quit. I didn’t realize how little I knew about piano until I started watching the CPAC videos. I love you man you’re awesome
