I put my money where my mouth is and bought a Suzuki GSX-R750 Ep3

It's finally ready...bar a few panels we're waiting for. Bob's worked his magic on my Suzuki GSX-R750 L4 and in this video I check out how he did it and ride it for the first time.

Enjoy it bud, I got back on a Gixxer 750 again last month after 5 years without a bike and haven't stopped smiling since
Nice to see this, your showing your human side setting off gingerly on your new baby! Enjoy fella.
Pure. The joy of direct response to the rider's inputs. I was shopping new machines March of '23 and had decided an R7 would be reasonable. But the riding position wasn't! Then this channel mentioned the 750. Suzuki still sells this bike here in the US. My Pearl White / Matte Dark Blue 2023 GSX-R750 is the finest sporting machine I've ever ridden and continues to bring pure joy to my world riding in the Ozarks. Thank you for the recommendation, and I look forward to seeing more smiles from you and your 750.
Dear mr Neevesy, you didn't sound like a professional and objective Journalist anymore but a hyper happy motorcylcle rider with his new toy 🙂. First i thought he is going to cry from happiness in his helmet ;-) Ahhh happy days indeed. Enjoy your ride with safe miles.

So true
I just got my 2023 gsxr 750 all the way from Canada to Ireland 🇮🇪, it’s a beast. I’m about to bring it to track in few weeks.
Looking sweet Mr Neeves 😎 The 'wonderful' British weather couldn't even dampen your spirits !
I remember the GSXR-750 long term loan bike you had and how hard it was to give back. Well done on grabbing your own GSXR, it's a great bike.
Neevesy, this series has inspired me and I’ve just bought an 08 750 after selling my 18 Fireblade last year and being without a bike for a while. I absolutely love the 750, everything you say about the machine is so true. Thanks for the inspiration!
I have the latest 2024 BMW S1000R & absolutely love it. However….. it doesnt compare in the simplicity & rawness of my mint condition 2010 Suzuki GSXR-750. The way you describe this bike is exactly how I feel about mine. I love it’s looks, ease of maintenance and the fact that its so so unadorned by electronics. There really is NOTHING like a Gixxer….Wonderful bike you have congratulations and that also makes me feel very lucky to have mine! Thanks for the video mate 👍
Your bike coming along nicely and when done a definite keeper. Enjoying this series, thank you!
What a state of the roads. Disgusting. We pay the highest road tax & have the worst roads. That money is clearly not being spent on the roads. That's fraud. I wish all the motoring organisations would get together & put pressure on the government to get the roads fixed properly. Not all this patching which is a loss leader. God bless you all. Ride safe.

I would pay more if they got the Swiss road engineers to do up all the UK roads.

Road tax hasnt been used for the roads since the 1937, its classed as a general tax like income tax.

Actually we pay amongst the LOWEST road tax in the western world. Most other western countries rely on tolls. We don’t. Hence we have some of the worst roads in the

Bought a GSXR 750 K7 this morning as my first big bike after riding a Ninja 300 for 6 years, absolutely cannot wait!

also left a Ninja 400 and gota gixxer 750. Sat back on the Ninja 400 to move it around and it felt like an actual bicycle in comparison.

Hat's off for keeping the Ninja 300 for a good bit. Fantastic bike, especially for a beginner. You're going to love the Gixer.
Well happy for you - Team Suzuki all the way. Well done for resisting the urge on those new tyres / brakes 👍
GSXR750 is the best 600 ever Love the airbox growl GWoooRRR
You look as happy as anything. I'm really chuffed for you.
It's baby bear's porridge you want. Mummy bear's was too sweet.
Looking forward to more GSXR750 videos. How's that taller screen at motorway speeds? I'm the same height as you (6"), with the same bike and I find the stock screen height creates quite an annoying wind noise at motorway speeds. I'd hate to buy a taller screen and find out it isn't any better, or worse. A Speedo Healer or SpeedoDrd is worth grabbing to correct the speedo/odometer if you're doing street riding.
such a great warming story, for those that have been following you for many Years

Man, look at your happy face :). You can really feel your happiness in this video. Takes me back to when I bought my 2005 GSXR750…. Watching the front door while I waited for it to be delivered from Wales. Now I wish I didn’t sell her….
Very jealous. Looking awesome. We all need a Bob in our lives! But man what are you doing taking it out in the rain 😢 Looking good 👍 😊
Shame the ABS fell off at that roundabout, 12.48 'It's got ABS' - 12.58 'There's no ABS'. 😂😂

Néw riders who've only used abs and traction control couldn't handle pushing an older bike .
very nice gsxr750, makes you feel like a kid at Christmas
Got my own. See name tag. Keeper!!!
Like a kid who's Christmases all came at once. Good to see you enjoying motorcycling as a hobby again and not just your job. And to see you as nervous as us mortals on a new (to you) bike with new tyres and new brakes in the rain!!
Love seeing a bike revived. Nicely done! I bought a K5 (2005) 750 in 2009 that had been crashed and over the ~10 years of ownership, I restored it to IMO better than new either with like new bodywork or upgraded parts (suspension). You don't appreciate how well a bike is set up until you ride another bike. That more analog, "pure" feel was special.
Very nice Michael! Wish I had got the chance to take a better look at it at Cadwell.. looks stunning buddy
The biked turned out really nice Neevesy, that one goes straight into your collection! I would be nervous as well, riding on new tires and wet roads, haha!
Just see the sign, Margate, Ramsgate. My old stomping ground. Bike looks great.
She's a beauty, Michael. I came and said hello to you at Cadwell on Saturday, I'd come from Spalding on my Ducati desert sled if you remember, we were just near the scrutineering bay. Anyway, good to meet you, I forgot, but I wanted to ask you about some track instruction maybe if possible. Seeing all those great Suzukis brought back some great memories and I ended up buying a 1985 GSXR 750 out the paddock. So super happy👍👍😊

Hi Michael. Thanks for getting back to me, don't do Instagram but I found you on Facebook so I'll try to message you there. Cheers
Looks lovely, there’s something really satisfying about getting a low mileage ‘old’ bike out and putting it back to good use. It’s like it thanks you for doing so.
She looks an absolute beauty Michael, nice to see that a rider with your skills can still get nervous about riding your own bike in crap weather, makes us less skilled riders feel less useless.
Lovely bike 😊 I bought a k5 2 years ago and would never part ways with it now love it
Lovely! Very similar to mine (except I prefer black and silver with silver wheels and I have Attack Performance Rearsets) with the Brembo RCS, steel lines, pads. The perfect trackbike and balanced on the road.
So nice to see that even one of the most experienced riders gets so excited and is as cautious as a novice when conditions demand. That’s exactly why so many of us have great admiration for you N 👌

Good comment! Yeh we also have to remember he has brand new tyres that are very slippery until scrubbed on those shitty wet roads.
look at the smile before neevsy even spoke lol, clearly a very happy man
Great vid sir thanks, you've got your GSRX750 giggle back!. Gave me a big smile. Bike looks transformed and as for Bob, what a lovely gent, he’s done you a right favour as that work takes days. Enjoy and keep it up....
I keep thinking of getting another one again but I have a street triple 765r and I love it. I hate the rain 😂
Great video , I can really relate to it. I bought one of the first gsxr750’s in ‘85 here in Adelaide but everyone of the are just awesome. I can’t believe Suzuki stopped making them!! They still churn out dr’s ect but no one can get these machines! I’m 59 and would get one tomorrow if I could! Come on Suzuki these are legendary. Really enjoying your videos mate.
Absolutely brilliant Neevsy, to see your excitement was great. Would seem were all the same on “ new bike day” 👍🏻
Bought my first ever Suzuki a couple months ago, a GSXR 1000 k2 which I'm absolutely loving, as you state these bikes are so raw with no aids or omissions regulations. Cheers Neevesey enjoy your videos thanks.
Beautiful 750 congrats, you should try a set of helibar riser clip ons lil more comfy for us old geezers
Superb. Looks and sounds special. Rides like that are lovely, even in the wet. Everything about the bike makes you feel good 😎
Hello Neeves I'm very inspired as much as I'm also in the market for one of these jewels. I'm proud to say i club raced a 2004 750 with great success in 2004 and loved it. I no longer have racing intentions but definitely some track days for fun. Thanks again for all you do. Ritchie
Love this channel and this is another very enjoyable video...
Awesome! Glads she is finally home!

What a lovely bloke Bob is! Loved these videos
I can't wait to hear it winding out on the track. They're the coolest sounding engine, high revs plus meaty.
We should probably also talk about this absolutely gorgeous Porsche complementing that gorgeous 750 😁😁😁 Great video as usual!
Thanks for the trip down town. Have a great summer.🐱
Awesome video! Beautiful bike for sure. Bob did a phenomenal job. I can't wait to hear her howl. I am so happy for you. And little things like the key ring. So small yet huge in memories. She really looks new. Best!

Congratulations neevsey she’s looking great , they don’t make em like this no more best era for bikes 👍👍
Congrats and enjoy. The bike looks terrific!
Great stuff, looking forward to how you get on with it.
That exhaust is gorgeous
I recently got myself a GSX-R750 and am completely in love with it. Congrats on the bike. You'll have lots of fun on it.
Looks absolutely beautiful 😊
Love my Gsxr 750. After years of the latest and greatest, I managed to pick up a mint 750 srad. I never bought one when new. What a bike! Light, nimble with perfect amount of power. Loads of character with a fantastic engine. Enjoy your bike mate. 👍🏻
What a perfect looking motor cycle, ❤
jealous! what a great bike, when you pulled away and I saw the weather I was yelling; It is wet! and felt a pain inside knowing this immaculate bike would get mud all over it. Enjoy it , and I can't wait for the next video of you riding it on track.
Epic, want one!
Nice one Neevsey, she’s looking good so far👌🏽
Way to go .enjoy.
Have to meet up with you one day. You've been a fixture in my 20 yr bike history. As for your speedo over reading due to the sprocket change, there was a small device back in the day called a 'Speedo Healer' designed specifically for this issue. Not sure if they're still sold, but there's probably a replacement by someone if not.
Your dream bike, fantastic, really pleased for you, I'm sure you'll really enjoy it.
Absolutely class mate you can see the happiness in your face 🙌😁I Hope you Enjoy it 👌🙌😁😎
got yourself a new bike, good luck and congrats
Looks and sounds lovely mate, can’t beat the GSXR blue and white. This is a keeper and future classic and only 3k miles is some win! Practically a brand new bike
I had that end-can on mine and it just looks beautiful and is a bit cheeky at mid-range, great machine
I bought an L3 in mint condition a few weeks ago - of course my first ride on her was in typical Scottish weather (pishing down) haha. Looking forward to the suspension set-up video. Cheers Neevesy 👍
It was brilliant to watch your first ride on it, special! I wish I would've gone to Suzuki Live now 😭 GSX-R = KING! 👑
Bike looks amazing. It is really a beautiful bike. Better looking even than the new bikes which all have these huge bread boxes underneath. This changed my perception on what I was looking for and I'm also going to see if I can find a GSXR like this. Why pay the silly money for the new bikes which I anyway can't afford when bikes like this can be had. My only really memory of GSXR's is my brother had two. One thousand and one 750. But I think both where from the late 80's and maybe early nineties. He took me for a spin a few times and one was really tuned. I remember it was wild. And the out neighbours had some GSXR'S in the late 90's. And the guy and his mate would blast past our house pulling wheelies in shorts and t-shirts..🤣 Good old nineties. Sadly I never rode one myself. Always knew people with bikes but never had any myself till much later in my life. Take care and enjoy your lovely bike. Loved the vide 💪👍
Just back from the Isle of man TT and catching up on your channel. Stop it you sausage, you are making me want another one. I've had a K3 and a K8 750. Enjoy the bike sir, love seeing people with as much enthusiasm as I with motorcycles. 😊 Ride safe.
She's a beautiful machine!
Great vid. Fantastic to see it come together so well & still a few improvements to go to make it even better yet. Really looking forward to the Suzuki Live vid too.
Beautiful.
What a beauty! Proving you *can* go home again. Enjoy it in good health!
Aussie fan here,bike looks great
I'm happy for you and gsxr, we have the same situation at the same time, I bought it relatively cheap, it was even similarly damaged, i finished mine 2 weeks ago and was blown away by how good the the whole unit actually is.. My last motorcycle was a 2007 r6 rj11, and I can say that this is a totally different world.. the gsxr 750 l2 blew me away.. my best bike so far..I wish you many happy kilometers on it and if you ever visit Croatia, feel free to contact about accommodation, routes, places to visit etc..best regards..
Congrats on the collection Mate 👍🏽🏍 looks stunning in the workshop, what a superb job was carried out , i can imagine your very please indeed 👍🏽, enjoy mate, look forward to future content 😎🙏🏽🏍🔥🔥🔥🔥
Totally Mint Michael.😀
Smashing! Looking forward to the suspension video. I had my 750 set up down at Steve Jordan Motorcycles!
I understand you 😉... Marvelous bike!!!! These kind of bikes are my precious babies
As someone watching from abroad, I am in shock at the state of your roads 🤯

whilst I share the concern, most of the video was filmed on the Isle of Thanet which has always had poor roads for the last 60 years...( I was born there, but don't live there) UK roads are pretty bad this is just an extreme example of how bad..
Great video Michael I really enjoyed the series and seeing and hearing you on the first ride being like the rest of us because of the rain made me smile and you human ( rather than your work hat of riding god 😁) she a lovely bike enjoy ps we all need a mate like Bob 😊👍👍
Looking for to how much it cost, having done loads of similar projects, I am usually worse off! But the fun I get from just getting stuff and fixing it is priceless And as the wife will never see this she only ever knows how much I paid and how much I sold,,so she thinks I make a profit
