Would it be fair to say that no other model of bike has brought you so much joy in your life? You can't hide your excitement whenever a GSX-R750 comes in to conversation. 😃
I xan only guess what this bike means to you! To see a veteran motorcycle journo having that sparkle in his eyes during this series, like a boy at the Christmas 🎄, very wholesome indeed. Enjoy your newfound fountain of youth 😊
I think you did the decent thing starting with a lightly crash damaged bike. It could easily have been stripped for spares, so you have preserved one more machine in the world.
Thanks for taking us along with you through the journey.
Neevesy says "its gonna be a bit geeky" we all say yes more please!!
Your obvious enthusiasm for your old/new bike is a joy to see.
There’s something about Gixxers - they just look so bloody good… and furthermore look like they just belong on the track. Thanks for sharing 👍
Schwantzie should be proud of you. That trademark crossed-up dennis over the mountain is a 21st century replica of his Jarama stunts ❤
You mad lad! You seem super chilled but watching that obvious display of controlled aggression on track is inspiring. Great bike, top bloke 👍
15:31 - love the callback to the commenter in the Q&A video a few weeks ago who said he could ride a Superbike all day and never get tired

i could tell we were really exchanging with the man from the beginning. his involvment with us really is a privilege. i mean especially for me because i don't have a word to say in the matter. i m only here to ask questions xD
Hello Neevesy, please do a video on body position for us newbies using your GSXR-750! So you can explain in detail all the little things that we should pay attention to
The detailed intro and the perfect POV .. I expect nothing less from Neevesy
The best Bike video I've seen for ages. Not an 'adventure bike' to be seen.
So great to see your genuine enthusiam and pride for your new bike - enjoy it! ......... and well done Bob!
Loving this series, I've had dozens of bikes but never had a sports bike, unless a 2017 Ducati Supersport S counts. The main thing I've learned is how good they are out of the box. That's big news for someone who has 2 American bikes that need thousands spent on them, only to end up with an average motorcycle. Time to reflect on my life choices and get a GSX-R750 😆
What an amazing set of GSXR750 videos you have produced Michael, your shear enthusiasm I can really relate too and share. I'm 74 now and have ridden sports bikes since 1966, two years ago I came to the conclusion after changing bikes regularly mostly 1000 street bikes more recently, with rider aids as is the norm nowadays, that something was missing and that I really missed my GSXR's. I managed to track down a low mileage L7 from a dealer in Hampshire in 2022 and haven't stop smiling since, just amazing rider machines that you sit into rather than a feeling of being perched on! Your info on your choice of tyres etc is so informative. Please keep the videos coming, keep smiling.
I really have enjoyed this series, love the enthusiasm you have for getting this bike back on the road and the track.
Been a real joy to see this beautiful machine brought back to life with love 💙🤍
Congrats on getting one of your all time favorite bikes dialed in! Your excitement is very inspiring. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for taking us along, as you built the bike up and now have it round the track. :)
As always, humble, great content and amazing result.. Can't wait to see more of this thing. Every success to you and thanks for the honest and detailed video.
Amazing video! Nice to see something getting used as intended by the manufacturer.. Great crossed up wheeling over the crest🤟 What a phenomenal machine.. Best color scheme too. Except maybe the 100 years anniversary model.. Keep the episodes coming Michael..
The UK looks lovely and warm. It's freezing over here 😂
Love it. It’s the joy you get from the bike that matters, not how much you paid it! And the 750 is such a sweet spot. Thanks for sharing this Neevesy
Terrific Neevsey. Really enjoyed that. Bike sounds great from the onboard. Enjoy!👍
Hi. Another great instalment and description. Loved every minute of it and most specially seeing that bike get track time with you on board because that’s where they really come to life! This kind of stuff just makes me want to ride even more. If only work and family life didn’t get in the way so much. Enjoy and thanks.
Great job. Keep them coming. 👍
So happy for you, well done. My dream would be for someone like yourself who is such an amazing ambassador for the sport to gently guide me around a technical track like Cadwell. Looking forwards to the next video.
It’s much more interesting now you have your own machine as another dynamic to talk about Mike 😊
ACE Neevesy! I've loved watching the videos on the Gixxer, please keep them coming! It's brilliant to see your genuine passion for the bike when you talk, and it looked so good out there on track too! I really need to come to Suzuki Live! next year! 🙂🇬🇧
great stuff, thx 4 making
Hi Neevesy, the passion and enthusiasm shines through, I can relate entirely as own and have had many Gsxrs over last 25 years, also it is testament to the Gsxr that a highly respected journalist like yourself , has chosen a gixxer to own, just says it all, you don’t need 20k+ to still get the buzz that reminds us of the reason we all have for being excited to go out and ride . Enjoy your new machine !!
Thank you , awsome video!
Awesome stuff, Job well done, mate 👍
Mr Neeves❗️ You are absolutely amazing and hands down the best bike review on KZread & UK❗️ I myself and all the viewers on here appreciate your effort and dedication, discipline on making these videos and questions❗️ If I ever come across you in person in the states here in U.S, I’m going to pick your brains about my many things. Sincerely keep up the good work❗️🤘🏿
I so enjoyed this gsxr series. Keep them videos coming.
Absolutely marvellous. Wish I’d made it to Cadwell. Bike looks lovely and such a great Track Bike.
Looks awesome mate, great job 👍👍
Fantastic video. I'm happy for you ✊🏻
Michael great job on this bike. It looks amazing. And you were cooking on the track!
Thanks for the suggested tire pressures. I just spooned on a set of these and can't wait to try them out 🙂
I know you're a Pro rider but I was willing you to get round in one piece with the bike being your pride and joy , great video cheers.
Awesome, love the leathers and matching tent 😁👍
Great video 💪
Great video Mike, glad to see Ur enjoying Ur ride, take care and ride safe.👍
great vid. good to see you, glad you enjoyed it..
Love it. Great to see you ride it in anger. Loved all the clips so far and am now keen to take my L1 to a track day😊 Enjoy 👍
Again a great video , tnx man for sharing all that joy. Classic suzuki in classic suzuki colors , all what a man needs. Cant wait to the next monday .
Thanks for sharing this process. I know what my next bike is going to be :)
I am a happy owner of this model. I sometimes thought about changing it for a new 1000 but, for budget reasons, I gave up. I've had it for 10 years and I use it on the track and on the road. It's perfect! With the fact that they no longer produce it, it makes it even more difficult for me to think about parting with it. The fact of fitting the 180/60 rear is interesting. Next time I change the tyres, I'll think about it.
Hooray, GSXR diary is back! Thanks
Looks like you had an amazing weekend for sure! :D Nice to see you enjoying the 750 as much 👍
What a blast Neevesy! Look forward to your next move on your favourite bike!
Awesome video! I have really loved this series. She a beautiful bike for sure. Just the right amount of bling. The carbon mud guard is going to be sweet. And she does howl. I love the sound. Best!
Been great fun to follow this mate. Big Suzuki fan and have a GSX-S750 myself. Hard not to want the lighter, better equipped, more powerful GSX-R. Maybe one day.
Class as ever 👌😎🙌 Never had a Suzuki but watching this makes me want a one 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️😂😂😂😎 Keep them coming mate pure quality 👍
Great to see the 750 out on track, especially at Suzuki live! Next year I’m going and I think I’m going to try and track down a decent 750 gixxer! Looking forward to the next video, cheers 👍
Just picked up a 2012 gsxr750, hearing you bang on about it convinced me to get one. Its all the bike im going to need, coming from an sv650. For me its the perfect bike, thanks for the series, was fun to watch.

Fully rebuilt and refurbished ❤ amazing bike bro enjoy
Great series mate, and good to see you albeit briefly at Cadwell!
I had many bikes in my life. Couple 1000cc but for me gsxr 750 is absolutely the best. Love every bit of it.
Had 2 GSXR 750's from new, a K8 and an L1 and loved both of them. Got a GSX S 1000 GT now and love that too ❤ . Just love Suzuki's really 😂.
Thanks for walking through your mods.-So good! Your setup is sooo close to mine. The 180/60 rear Pirelli Supercorsa was a huge immediate improvement on track.
Excellent Neevesy. I'll be adding one to my stable soon hopefully.
Great video...👍
Interesting video
0:01 mate it looks gorgeous there, fit as a fiddle. Looks ready for attack 👌🏼
Bikes looking mega. So nice to here your enthusiasm for the 750. Hope it bring you as much fun as mine has myself. Good times ahead enjoy 👍
Great to see the 750 on track, looks like a dream to ride. Thanks for getting High Rollers in vid too. What an awesome event it was. See ya soon dude. Jimmy 🤙🏼

@@Barcon- thank you, sir 😊👍
Grinning like a kid on Xmas morning, love it. Congratulations mint bike 😎👍
I have a K9 GSXR750 converted from road to now a race bike, by far the best upgrade I found for the brakes was the master cylinder. The stock NISSIN one felt quite wooden compared to the upgraded RCS19 unit, If I had of know the difference it made initially I probably would have done that first rather than the lines and pads upgrade.
I own a K6, and will never get rid of it, I agree with everything you have said.
Great to see one brought back to life that was savable, and I’m sure you’ll make some great memories with it 🏍️😉👍!
Congratulations mate
Bike looking great mate , definitely looks at home at Cadwell 👍🏽😎🏍 looks like you had a great weekend 🙏🏽🌞, take it easy mate ! 👍🏽😎
Thanks Michael, super video and great to see you so happy with her. And well done for saving her too. And that exhaust is super nice too. As you know I picked up a GSXR 755 F track bike at that weekend in need of a bit of tlc and i can't wait to get started on her. Cheers, enjoy your bike, she's a real beauty😀
Looking good so pleased you're happy with it. I would be too.
You look like you're struggling to contain how happy you are Neevesy, nice to see a 10+ year old bike can bring this much joy, fair play 👍
You really rebuilt it!!! Awesome haha. You inspired me to get my first GSX-R750
In the mid 2000's Ben Spies put the GSX-R on the map in the AMA Superbike Series and there was so much excitement around all the GSX-R's. Your journey brought back all those great memories and twenty years later the GSX-R 's are still relevant!!! Bravo!
Keep this 750 forever, Neevesy! It hits the sweet spot on so many levels. Can't wait to see the final touches. 🤘👍
Fantastic video michael again i agree for me the greatest sportsbike ive ever ridden. All the bike you ever need and it handles so well. Congrats👍
Inspiring!
Thanks for taking us along during this series about the 750. Really enjoyed it and it showed what fun can be had without spending £20+ on the latest sports bikes. And that bike looks so good and modern. It doesn't look dated, actually looks amazing and better than the new bikes with the underslung bread boxes. Anyway, you really did put your money where your mouth is. So much of what you talked about came together in this series. Take care.
Sorted. Satisfaction of getting a setup that works with whatever grade of suspension you have, feels good. Looked great on track.
that is a nice garden you have.
I've been messing about with the ride height adjustment on my rsv4 factory. And I'd jacked up the rear by 5mm. I found 2 interesting things, while the turning was sharper and the bike more responsive to inputs : 1. I initially lost all my static sag. It took me a while to figure out why. But essentially, I had to back off the preload a fair bit to get my sag numbers back. 2. I also had poorer exit drive grip. Taking off 2mm of ride height brought it into the sweet spot for that bike, setup and state of the suspension. I've since rebuilt the suspension and resprung it for my weight. I'm going to pick up the bike in a few minutes. Very excited. Sitting in the workshop, bouncing the bike around, it already felt totally different.
Cheers geezer Gr8 vid, had a 750Y back in the day because of your recommendations in the press. I Wrote it off .....!
I was there on the Sunday good to see you there on your 750 through the sight and smell of castrel r from rg500 and rgvs cheers
Got an 07 plate K6 and I still love it
Love the 750
On my 2007 trackbike, I've reduced trail by dropping the triple clamp by 12mm and reduced wheelbase with a 16T front sprocket with a 520 chain, brembo RCS19 and renthal 40mm offset CL100.
Looks fabulous, sounds brilliant and you love riding it - mission accomplished 👍🏻 I bet you will fit a cartridge kit and race shock....just because !
Nice bike Michael. It looks great. Best of luck with it. I’ve two Suzukis now so will try and get over to Suzuki Live next year.
Lovely seeing you at Suzuki Live! Nice tip on the 180/60 - I'll give that a try next time around. S22s are amazing, but my back one overheated in Inters...
I'm a triumph owner and a bit of a newbie but really think your vintage of GXR is the best looking and ideal compromise between oldskool and new tech. Bravo
Great 🤍💙🤍
I own a Honda and didn't know if I'd be ok to go to this event but I was told there's lots of other makes in the carpark. Hope it runs again next year, it looks amazing.
Cheers Neevesy, gonna make sure the suspension on my L3 is on standard settings and get a 180/60 on the rear 👍
