The Tortoise is really slept on. It has the same armor pen as the American 105mm but less than half the reload. It’s reverse gear allows you to reposition or get out of situations quickly. The Tortoise also has the ability to angle it’s armor, making it only vulnerable to a well placed/lucky shot or HEAT/APDS. The 7 man crew also gives it incredible survivability. Despite the mobility challenges, I had a really good time playing it. I became everyone’s target, but that allows my team to clean up or make moves to get better positions with the enemies preoccupied. The turreted MG was a magnet for APHE, but otherwise very well protected.

You should maybe play a Soviet heavy tank, like one of the IS’s (they definitely are fun tanks)

I am a Maus enjoyer. It’s actually my most played German vehicle. I used to bully IS-6’s with a few friends, one of which earned the E-100 years ago. I’ll do a maus video in the future.

The tortoise is really slept and if you want another vehicle that's fun play the Russian 2S3M with it's APHE shell it's like shooting a nuke out you'r barrel
