Jak 1 is my personal favorite because it's the first game I ever completed in my life and the world left such a huge impression on me.

i liked actually every jack and daxter game (Even though Jak x and Lost frontiers arent my personal favs but still not bad. still i agree lost frontiers is the worst game of the series) my fav game is Jak 3 by far

Oh man this is a throwback! I really loved this as a kid (though I haven't played it in like 15 years so who know how it would hold up for me). I also remember this being one of the first games I got on the PSP, and it totally blew me away with its graphics-which is kind of hilarious looking at it today

Using the release dates between jak x and lost frontier it’s safe to assume lost frontier is 5 years after jak x which would make jak 24 in lost frontier

Yeah it sort of came out of nowhere which gives me hope Daxter will do the same. 100% though, not the best but we'll take the platinum

Great video mate as always! I only ever played the trilogy on the PS3, since they were actually given through the PS+ monthly games back in 2013. Somehow never played them on the PS2, and I didn't even realize this game existed 😅

This one's definitely a bit of a forgotten title in the series. Only on PSP, came out a good 3 or so years after the rest of the games, just never really got much attention. Not the best game but if you want a quick platinum you could do worse!

The funny thing is Jak X is arguably Jak 4 as the story involves Krew from Jak 2 and it sequel baits as well at the end. Moot point regardless as we haven't had a new Jak since this one haha

Watching this video just restored my childhood I had this on psp but I couldn’t remember which jak and daxter I used to play all I could remember was the armoured ape boss fight and now I finally know which jak this is thank you mhb

I just plat the first jak game last year and may I say I loved every second of it and I definitely want a 4th one though if they did I would prefer it to be in the style of the first game I’m a big collectible collector and cause of that the first one was always my fav

I would love to see Jak return to the first games roots but I just think the series if we were to ever get a fourth is just too far gone in the shooter direction

I recommed you to plat also Sly and Ratchet Trilogy. These 3 Trilogies are the best platforms ever. (rn I'm playing Ratchet & Clank 3 and it's easily the best of the trilogy)

Definitely want to revisit the Sly and Ratchet series, some of my favourites on the PS2!

My favorite part of The Lost Frontier will always be the amazing soundtrack. It's just so immersive and adventurous-sounding.

The flying mechanics in this weren’t bad but I remember HATING the on foot segments when I played this back on the PS2. I grew up with the original trilogy, so playing this game after just made me want to go back.

Yeah I played it on the PSP back in the day so I'm a lot more forgiving of that sort of stuff. Pretty impressive what they managed to do with one analog stick 😂

HELL NAH I NEVER FORGOT THIS ONE!!!! actually really enjoy this game. loved how different the powers are and while i wasnt the biggest fan of the story, it was cool. the airship customizing is fcking awesome. but it's not on PS5 though so how the trophy gonna wo... *0:48* U WOT M8!?!?!?!? oh you earned a sub and a like purely for bringing this to my attention! gonna fcking download this shit right now god damn. "15 years since the last Jak and Daxter game" ..... usually this is where i would be like "BRING IT BAAACK" but considering naughty dog right now and the gaming landscape in general, all i can actually say is "LEAVE IT ALONE. DONT FCKING TOUCH IT" not much else to say. solid vid on a deent game. nice one.

I remember trying to play this when I was younger, and I could not get past the dark ego ape thing near the end. I almost smashed my controller as a kid because of that one fight

Never played any of the Jak and Daxter games, but I really want to get around to them at some point

something u can think about bear is if u want to go for a plat run of some of the games u want to show off but u have the plat make a new profile and get the plat there to show us the journey so u can still do it even though u have the plat on ur main file just a suggestion

Honeslty loved jax and daxter as a Kid i didnt grow up ih it but lived every minute of it. I forgot what it was for a while spent awhile trying to find it

I want Jak 4! I played the main 3 titles back in the day when I had a PS2 and they were great. It was cool to see the platinum on this game I’d never played. Great video and looking forward to the next one pal

Never played this one but was curious I think I’m going to check it out. Jak 2 definitely is my favorite. But I do want to try out combat racing just to say that I did. I got the plat in the first three games.

Jak X goes hard, that's a fun one that I'm excited to finally platinum hopefully soon!

For anyone else doing this wait until you get the Interceptor before getting the crystals. It's the fastest ship even without mods.

Can you go back to previous areas on this game ie the ship you protected then boarded (city on a ship) after the first island you start on? I’m currently at Far Drop and missed collecting the ECO and Precursor Orbs there. Where in the game is the point of no return?

As long as you haven't progressed the story too far as there is a point of no return, yeah you can travel back and forth between planets as you please

Lost frontier would've been better if it actually explained the circunstances where its like we're at the end game of the adventure already. Like the eco powers cool but where is light eco why cant jak use it? Why doesnt dark eco just kill Daxter when it does every other time? And where are all the other heroes what happened to haven and everyone else? Just questions anyone that even remotelt touched the series would ask. As is, its like a poor man's jak 2

I wish we got some more jak and daxter games and ratchet and clank games

Maybe you could platinum totally accurate battle simulator, those achievements are tough

What's a weird thing is they always Port the PSP versions of some of these games that had PS2 versions. For example Syphon Filter dark mirror add a PS2 version that play tremendously better than the PSP Port we got and the same goes for the Lost Frontier. I don't know why they didn't just Port the PS2 version that was already there with better controls and a better camera system rather than porting the PSP version that already has so much hate going for it. Funny thing is aside from the terrible sections with Daxter, the game isn't horrible but definitely should have been solely developed with the PS2 in mind. The game did do some things that I liked better than what the original games did. Biggest difference was how it actually had a lock on mechanic that was sort of usable and I liked what they did with the collectibles and the upgrade system. But even a person like myself who plays a lot of games and even enjoys most of them, I have to admit that this game sucks.

The trophy for getting the first skill didn’t unlock for me

My question is, "How did you get around the game crashing before landing in Far Drop?" Everytime I load up the game, the framerate drops and then the game crashes right before Fardrop...

Yeah I only heard about that issue after I was done. Didn't effect me at all but I hear the solution is something to do with switching languages? Maybe worth a quick google though

Glad that somebody out there likes this horrible Jak game. Most fans will refuse to acknowledge this game exists because of how terrible it was in comparison to the others.

my fav is jak 3. Well actually i love every jak and daxter game but jak x and lost frontiers didnt feel that good. Lost frontiers is the worst game in the series even if i find it Ok and jak x wasnt quite perfect for the series. I find it very sad that there will be no jak 4 because i would love a new storie about what happens after Jak 3 because i see much potential there.

Easily the worst game of the Jak series. Overall just sucked imo

The armor upgrade is amazing. It had potential and devs admitted their time were cut heavily which is the state we got was alpha stage.

Terrible Jak game. Daxter had more substance than this. Jak 2 is remains the GOAT in the series. Damn do I wish we could get a Jak 4.
