@TrulyTanishka I believe more than passing the exam I would say how many of them actually understand the concepts and its applications at grass root level. That is where I see a huge dichotomy between a “great" CFA charter and "only" a CFA charter holder. Concentrating more on passing the level, memorizing the formulas, and getting the charter along side name on a long run never helps. More than just focusing on clearing exams and getting CFA designation to your name, it is far more important to understand the basics because after all CFA charter holder who go out to manage portfolios, finances, deal with real money, etc. they need to be fully aware of the concepts and should be judicious in carrying out the responsibilities as there is real money involved. Mugging up, memorizing, etc. does not work. One can earn a CFA charter, but not the trust and confidence of an investor if he/she fails to perform at the top as required for a CFA charter holder. You should be informing about it since you have already cleared CFA L2 and make other candidates aware about the main fact. Anyways, you're videos are good and informative as usual!

Sagar I 100% agree with what you said…I have actually made a short on this as well but that’s for CFA L1 and not very detailed. Also after reading this I also agree that I should maybe make a long format video to explain the need for this type of learning rather than the mugging up. Thank you for putting this up, I know it’s going to give all those who read it the absolute correct perspective! Also thank you for your kind words about my content ☺️🙏🏻

Hi Tanishka, I am registered for CFA L 1 Nov 23, but I have only covered FSA and Equity till now. All other topics are pending. Should I defer (if yes, to which window) or study full time for this last month and give the exam. I am really confused and stressed because of which I am not studying. Waiting for your reply. Thank you for your videos.

Hi Harshad, I can understand how stressful the situation you are in might be. In my opinion: If you feel you have done these two topics very well (do not require another revision) and haven’t taken too long to finish it. Then maybe you can try and finish the rest in this month (the risk is high though). I have explained how to take a decision on if you should defer or not in a recent video (sharing the link below). I do recommend you watch it once, should give you more clarity on how to take this decision. In case you still don’t be satisfied, pls feel free to ping me in the comment…I will definitely reply ☺️ kzread.info/dash/bejne/m4d7tNmufsnfj7Q.htmlsi=VmiQJKcRquijg_O3

Hi Himanshu, It’s not a necessity. You can also go ahead by just doing MBA or maybe a masters. Sometimes if you are already a part of the firm also you can climb up faster. Yes doing CFA will increase you chances to get into most companies because they feel you have theory knowledge.

Hello ma'am, I appreciate how you are trying to guide us through your videos and if possible i need a personal opinion. I would like to know what classes will be good for my cfa level 2 preparation which i am planning to appear in 2025. I am even dicey whether I should appear in may or August 2025. (I just cleared cfa level 1 of feb 2024).(I need sufficient time to understand topics like can take a bit of time in understanding) Also should i do internship also while cfa level 2 prep as i will be starting my third year in june 2024. Also would like to know whether i should be going for offline or online classes and whatever it might be be suggestions for the same like which will be good (who focus on concepts clearing and good practice)

Hi Maniya, Congratulations on clearing your Level 1, onwards and upwards from here 🧿 I would say you can go for May 2025 as that’s a little bit more than a year…But if you feel your third year will take too much of your time then without a doubt go for August…Love that your so honest with yourself about your pace and are self aware. That’s literally the first step to success 🙌🏻 While internships are great, I wouldn’t recommend you do it cuz with your final year and CFA level 2 it will get tough to mange so if I were in your place I’d just finish level 2 then think about it…However the final choice will be yours based on your logistical feasibility. With regards to classes…Both online and offline have its perks so you need to be ready to give up one for the other, and both are equally beneficial in my opinion. Some suggestions:- Manish Ramuka (my personal favourite in terms of explanation) Aswini Bajaj Fintree

Ma'am i would also like to ask another thing like what way do you study exactly like what u should refer to and read first (the books that should be bought: curriculum or schweser or both) and how exactly is your revision to be done. Like in my level 1 i got pretty confused with how to revise and how exactly to study....what would you suggest like for studying how long should be put (in terms of months) and how many for revision.....what should be your take in one week before your exam.....i am sorry i am asking so many questions ek ek karke... it's just i get pretty nervous thinking when should i start my prep if i plan for may or when should I plan to start if i plan for Aug (enrolling with classes)...🥲😅
