At this point of time do what you find most comfortable and easy to understand in terms of classes or revision (practise is non negotiable) Personally I prefer watching classes for quants and then practise ☺️

As per your level 1, do alot of formulas base, question comes or more like conceptual. I'm going for this November

Hey, It’s usually a mix bag of both depending on the subject. I do think for my exam conceptual based questions were a tad bit higher (but that could be a complete fluke) so I suggest be prepared for a mix bag.

Are the CFA soft material which is provided by them on the website itself the same as the hard copies that are available on Amazon. And if yes, why buy the hard copies then? Is it necessary to buy the physical box sets from any E-commerce website? Coz already CFA registration is expensive and then we have to buy the book sets which costs another 20k. So plz clarify me regarding the same.

Hello Samridhi, If you are using the institute material you don’t need to repurchase that material…That’s just selling convenience in a way. What you can get instead are the shweser notes which should be around 1-2K if you want a concise version of the study material…This is too is not compulsory if you’re okay in reading the full version provided by the institute.

@@tanishka3338 I wish I could send you a screenshot. But while registration the CFA institute asks to choose the type of subscription like standard, plus and premium. For ex- In premium one there are extra 1000 questions for practice.

@@samridhi._11 understood…If the cost difference is not too much for you then go for the premium one (always great to have all the extra material in hand). Else it’s completely fine to start with the standard then if needed purchase the extra questions if you happen to finish the standard practise way before time.

Hi Yash, I personally prefer talking coaching classes (if that’s okay for you logistically, then maybe you can opt for it as well). It just helps to understand things faster and give you some guidance when needed. If it’s logistically not working out, you can do self study as well (it will just take a month or two longer…that’s it)

See there is honestly no guarantee that even if you score great in all 10 subjects while practise you will pass.. It’s absolutely okay to get low in as many subjects while practising as long as you are understanding what went wrong and are confident that now if that’s asked you can solve it ☺️

The CFA final result is based on a cumulative score of all subjects and what the passing percentage they have decided! Scoring very low in any subject on the final day can be risky…but if all other subjects are 100% you MIGHT get saved!
