To answer questions in the comments! 1) no it’s not permanent. It’s essentially like a conditioner that temporarily changes the color. It’ll fade the more I wash it and eventually go back to how it was before. 2) I’d love Brad Mondo to react to this so feel free to send it to him! 3) to the person who said “buzz your hair off because you ruined your hair” it’s temporary, it’s my hair, and it’s very healthy. So sorry to disappoint ☺️

dyeing your hair bright colours is like an addiction. Once you start it's hard to stop. I always thought I wasn't cool enough for coloured hair as well, but now I've gone purple, pink, and teal. Teal is my favourite. I've been teal since christmas.

I love that shade of purple! I actually used to wear my hair similar shades of purple a long time ago. (So long you’d fall out of your chair.)...lol I will say my oldest is probably about your age. This last time I dyed my hair I went with a really nice pink shade. Another great video and Chloe I think you’re a card so whatever type of video you make I will watch!!!!

This was almost exactly me back in April!!! I've never colored my hair outside of blonde highlights and so I chose purple Overtone, with same kind of preexisting highlights. Now I'm wishing I had mixed colors to get more magenta, because I love how that looks! Mine was just a very cool-toned dark purple. Glad you got to experiment too!

Purple looks so majestic on wavy hair! You don't need to be cool for bright hair, bright hair is what makes you seem cool, so wear it with pride!

Oh my goodness Chloe I absolutely love the purple? It gives your hair a reddish tint with a gradual purple fade and it is so lovely and looks so natural. I think you did a fantastic job, and you pull it off wonderfully.

Lily Hill do it! I’ve had every color of the rainbow. If you don’t like how it comes out you can always dye it back. My main advice is don’t bleach it yourself. Get a professional if you need to bleach or you might really damage your hair. Dye won’t hurt though so feel free to do that yourself

It’s a perfect time! And if you use arctic fox it’s scented and if you end up not liking it you can just wash it a bunch with shampoo and it’ll come out! I love it!

I have like mousy brown kinda colour hair which I hate and I really want to dye it black/very dark brown but my parents don't want me to (lol) they say "it looks better natural" but I might use this reasoning to convince them to let me do it "Q u a r a n t i n e" Thank you for this idea, and I hope you get the courage to dye your hair because it will probably look awesome :D

I'm Not Okay I Promise if you do I recommend semi permanent dye like arctic fox because black permanent box dye will never leave your hair. Like you could bleach it a million times and it will just turn slightly orange and just be totally damaged. I know from experience.

Well, ot is the best moment: people probably wont see you in person for a while so if you don't like the outcome it's not big deal. Just make sure you investigate to get the best results possible :)

I think she looks beautiful with purple hair 😻 also, yes, upkeep on bright hair colors is a drag. I’ve had purple hair many times (blue as well, but purple is my favorite!) but it fades so quickly 😩

I had purple hair once, although not this bright and I loved it. Brunettes have the colouring for it I guess, it fit really well. Yours turned out amazing!

I'm glad you did this because your hair on top is naturally just a few shades lighter than mine and now I know that it wouldn't even show up if I tried to do the same colour. You saved me a huge amount of $$$!!! Thank you Chloe!!

I have really thick wavy/curly hair and I have it short! It isn't always a triangle! You just need a good hairdresser who can deal with this kind of hair. My hairdresser would texturise my hair with a razor and thin it out a bit to take out the bulk. Now my hair is getting quarantine cuts from my mum and she's too afraid to put a razor near my hair so it's slightly more triangular. But nobody is seeing it!

Ahhh I LOVE IT!!! I've dreamed of going purple for a long time but my hair is very dark brown so I'd have to bleach it a bit for any color to show and I'm scared of doing that 😨

IT LOOKS SO GOOD!!!!! You were so apprehensive at first but I'm glad you liked it. And yes, purple and blue are the hardest colors to keep in so if you wanted it out, you could have washed your hair everyday for about a week and it would have been almost gone. I dye my hair all the time so some advice: - if you get dye on your skin, use dawn dish soap to get it off. just scrub for a few minutes and it should come off much easier - your hair can only take so much pigment. it doesn't really matter how long you leave a dye in for because your hair will stop absorbing it after a while. if it's not as dark or pigmented as you want it, dye it again a few days later once your hair has time to recuperate - long gloves are your friends, especially for long hair - the brush becomes a hindrance. no one will judge you for using your hands - if you mess up, play it off. color doesnt work out? "i wanted this color. im not afraid to be me/different." - do not let people get you down about your color. its your hair! whats it to them what you do? (outside a professional setting and wont upset your job, at least)

This is the color that I was going for when I dyed my hair a few weeks ago, but my hair ended up dark red without a hint of purple. The red is actually a color that I usually dye my hair in fall, so I don’t mind that but I wanted purple, because I don’t get to have it when I’m in the office. I love the color that yours turned out.
