After many years of using Beavercraft carving products. It didn’t take me long to realize that they are not cheap, just inexpensive.

Hey Shaun- I have a carver just like that one in addition to the one I just bought and yes, it was cheap and it works well for me too.

Loks like a great starter knife.

They all do have a space on each side of the blade. Its for a certain amount of flex I believe. It's not a bad thing, I think.

I've been looking into a carving knife but I think im leaning towards the Old Timer 240T. It has multiple blades, and is only about $25 but its a folder and that makes me question it. Ether way I should have something to pick around with by the time wyld camp comes around. Cheers

Looks like you might be able to trim up or shape the handle for a custom fit to your hand
