It's basically portal 90% of the time and the 10% when it's either destroyed already or you going against walkers, then it's immortal sun

On the Etali scoop, you had 20 damage already just with your board presence before anything else

Love seeing a Magda deck without a paradox combo.

With Magda you may use Terror of the Mount Velus. It's like embercleve, but for every creature. Best combat trick for lethal after blocks are declared.

The Tergrid game was insane! Beating up on a bunch of top decks was tons of fun to watch. Top tier brawl content.

The Tergrid win was probably the tensest I’ve ever been watching an MTG game. I have never wanted you to win a game more. It was awesome to see your dinky commons go toe-to-toe against the top decks of the format.

I always love CGB videos - Standard and HB are both great formats. Looking forward to Ixalan cards coming soon!

I use a form of this deck, love it. I took out reckless crew, all the vehicles and added gloin and storm-kiln, and the draw cards that give you treasure

you know what's funny, i've never been a standard player on arena or otherwise but i love edh and historic brawl is similar so i love the HB content but lightweight you caused me to play standard because you say outloud your thought process and boy that is super helpful. you know education vs heres a silly or op deck.

GGs. I've had a Magda historic brawl deck for a long time that I play once in while. It doesn't really look good on paper, and doesn't really feel that good playing it, but somehow it seems to win quite a bit, even though it plays against seemingly better commanders. Maybe Magda is just a luck sack.

Honestly, I've lost to Magda decks more than once. For some reason it just doesn't inspire me to build a deck around her at the helm. In the 99 she's so fun and such a good payoff. I think it's how one note mono red dwarfs just inherently sounds. But then when it does go off and it pulls out an early victory it is very satisfying, even on the receiving end.

When it was still regular brawl, i had a magda deck and it gave me matchups with only magda and esika. Not even joking, like 20 games straight

i only watch ur historic brawl stuff anyways :) i rly like ur brawl decks because u take them more serious :) they are fun they have a theme but still are taken serious and most other channels have fun decks but they feel like memes and u often get like 20% win with them and thats just not fun xD

To kill Etalis and the like I added in the 6 mana magma construct thing from the recent alchemy set thst exiles all your mountains and then deals damage equal to the amount. When it dies you get all the mountains into play and 4 instant X damage spells 😂😂😊😊

all cgb content is good cotnent to me but i love this hostoric brawl binge

First game I was hoping he'd crew on opponents blockers step after blocking, make the same treasures but have more options.

CGB would say, "Why play a bunch of 'trash' cards that get a buff for playing a bunch of them? That's just bad." It's probably easier to pull off a, "good," tribal deck in commander with a much larger card pool to pull from. There are barely enough, "decent," groups of: Merfolk, Werewolves, Goblins, Soldiers, Zombies, etc., on Arena to make a, "decent," tribal deck. You're going to add bad cards based purely on the tribe. Would a 2/2 trample, for 3, make it in your deck under any other circumstances? Not a chance! That slot could be an Oracle of the Alpha if you're running blue. Every single creature needs to be a banger, for it's slot, and of the same type, to be a, "good," tribal deck. With that said, I have a Tovolar Tribal deck that is, "pretty good." It's meaner and lower to the ground than Amy the Amazonian's. I would argue that she fell into the trap of adding too many objectively bad cards, because tribal. Those got swapped for more protection, good enchantments that I can't think of the names for, fight spells, and combat tricks. A couple of my still questionable slots might need to be swapped for more good equipment. Get some extra haste, ward, hex proof, and other goodies. Maybe Ixilan has something to offer?

It would be cool to tag the videos with the format, so we know if it’s a brawl video before clicking on it.

The new sets are pouring in so fast, i don't see a point in standard anymore outside of grinding rewards. I just open boosters or wildcard the goodies in new sets and move on. Whereas HB is timeless and requires more skill than fighting the shuffler

This deck desperately needs an Inspiring Statuary. Being able to use treasures to recast Magda without sacrificing them would make her ridiculously hard to tax out of the game, and nothing about Magda's tutor ability needs the treasures to be untapped...
