Some things to note concerning the animation and Angel 1. Did you notice Valentinos smoke formed a collar and cuffs around Angels neck and wrists? It seems to show that Valentino is a very manipulative overlord who takes pleasure in taking control over his workers, which is apparant from the prequel comic. Can also be seen in the reflection moment with his grip on Angel. 2. Cherry bomb wasn't mindlessly blowing stuff up. She was SPECIFICALLY destroying things related to Valentino for the most part. She obviously knows everything going on being Angels friend and its her way of helping.

A lot of people love Cherri being there for Angel when he was crying but what I also loved was her blowing up Val's picture when she was running. It shows how close she is to Angel and will destroy anything that hurts him. Also The song came out on iTunes weeks ago I already got a copy.

Not only that, but Vivzy has been confirming (somewhat) that she'll be continuing the Helluva Boss series as well. With the A24 deal having been brokered, its possible that she'll be posting that separately on the KZread channel.

We do have some details about Angel Dust confirmed: He was Italian in his human life. He died relatively young in his early 30's. His family was a mafia family but he rejected joining it and went into prostitution. It's not exactly clear how he died but it's expected to be related to sex and drugs, possibly abuse or violence. And we have no clear details on who is in Cherri Bomb's backstory but the person who appears in the video in her memories bares a striking resemblance to a character in Vivziepop's webcomic Zoophobia named Izzy, though it is unknown if this is simply a coincidence or not.

Also the character in cherri's memories is Izzy, its not a coincidence. Also additional fun fact, Valentino's smoke is said to be his power/charm that he uses to controll people against their own will, if you notice every time the smoke comes in contact with angel he starts sexualising himself and appears happy, which obviously he isnt. Also do keep in mind that Valentino is one of the overlords in hell even though he isnt nearly as strong as Alistor.

I think I remember seeing some comment about why his chest is so fluffy. It's because he wears his corset so much, and it pushes his fur up to his chest.

Not so fun fact (theory?), the club at the end wasn't actually blown up, it was a dream. Common theory is everything past the white screen was the dream but the club for sure was. That same building (intact) was posted to one of the Hazbin instagram accounts the day after the video came out, and there is a neon sign when Angel and Cherri are running outside that says "it was all a dream". It's only on screen for a couple frames since it's panned past very quickly

This was a great reaction! I'm happy to find another person who paid attention to the story instead of just the music. You paid attention to both. You were also fun to watch. Also, not to make this even more depressing, but there's a sign on the wall (a really quick flash and I don't know how to link time stamps) at 4:02 I think. It says "This Was All A Dream". The animation and the music and the story told in this music video, all that stuff is great. Angel was already my favorite character back when I first watched Hazbin, not long after it came out, but I kinda got over it and forgot about it. And then Addict came out, and I got back into it and my appreciation for the show and everything that's gone into it has increased so much. Man, angel and cherri are like the best characters honestly. And I have a theory on who the person is, it's most likely cherri's old abusive lover probably. Honestly, both of them are like the BEST duo ever. There personalities, voices, everything is just so good together! Very small but REALLY disappointing moment here. Around 6:13 when Angel and Cherry are running out of the building, you’ll see a sign on the right that says, “It was all a dream.” Implying that the whole video is Angel’s dream and a way to cope during his “job.”

Omg your reaction to this is really cool! The way you just stopped when you saw the first dark side in the video made me giggle a bit, everything about this video was cool. I remember watching through and seeing that in the background where Angel and Cherry where blowing the place up there was a sign that said "It was all a dream" so I'm going to say that the epic part was only a dream he had but the Hotel is a place he can relax. Another reason why it was a dream is because after the video there was a Insta post at some point with Val at the club. "This Hotel is my Atlantis", because Cherry said that as well I'm going to think at some point she's going to go to the Hotel as well at dome point in the show. Maybe not for herself but maybe for Angel! I noticed that Cherry used to work with someone, possibly a family member or a past lover. From what we see they used to be controlling it have most of the power but now that she's free from them she can do what she wants unless she's not free. I also think that Cherry knows how Val is and can relate to Angel in some way which makes them really close friends. I could be wrong but you never know!

The man in cherry bomb's flashbacks is a prototype character made by Viziepop. He also worked with explosions but he did it for money and power, where cherry bomb does it for enjoyment.

Angel backstory is that Valentino his boss at the adult studio abused him sexually and the theory is that the red smoke that Valentino uses controls Angel and force him to work Also we know that Angel died by an overdose of a drug known as Angel Dust thats why his name in hell. His real name as a human was Anthony. The other guy the black and white cyclops is Demon Hunter and unused character in another like animation comic called zoophobia the theory is that he abused Cherri Bomb with money and power thats why she says that in the lyrics the other cherri theory is that demon hunter was his dad and give her money now he died and she feels sad but that theory might be fake because we see him in this video Also in the video Cherri is destroying Valentino´s stuff to help angel with the trauma. At the mirror in the aftercredit scene sadly Valentino was sexually abusing Angel. Apparently the flashbacks at the beggining were Angel is at the bed was what happened after the mirror flashback at the end. sorry if my english is a bit bad im not so good at it..

I am a week late, but I love your reaction, I watched your Hazbin Hotel one months ago. Yes poor Angel died of an overdose, one he obviously remembers painfully. Also Valentino's bad touch, it shows significant signs of rape if not forced sexual activity from his employee. The prequel comic covers the interaction and how he ended up in the hotel, but this added even more depth. I listen to this song on KZread Music in my car all the time. By the way, I know you mentioned Alastor's Game, but there is another animation made for another character of the Hazbin crew. Vox, the TV demon, has a fan animated music video called Power Glove, by Knife Party. It's not long at all, and not much singing, but the killer part is its made by one of the actual animators of Hazbin Hotel itself. I would check it out cause I just love it for the tease.
