So, obviously that guy was Angels pimp Valentino and he's the fucking worst. That sector of hell is practically his domain. Cherry Bomb and Angel are best friend and since Val has been abusing Angel she was destroying his sector of hell.

It's the worst form of lust, which he would probably be ok with on a surface level, but it isn't lust for lust sake, it's lust for power. Valentino is very clearly power hungry and he'll take whatever he wants whenever he wants it. I don't think Ozzie would approve.

Well, worse demon, so far. There's Vox, Velvet, and maybe even Alastor, since they're all Overlords; they have to be evil enough to get where they're at. Sir Pentious, a not so serious villain, probably will try and fail to attack the Hotel, or get owned by Cherri or Alastor.

Valentino is really bad, but that just makes me curious to see if any of the others can top him. I'm also curious to see if they go into how the characters got into Hell in the first place. Angel is kind of an asshole, but I don't think you get sent to Hell just for being an asshole. Is this universe's take on Heaven that they're super strict and unfair, and he got sent to Hell just for doing drugs? I'm guessing it's not that simple. Considering he was in the mob, I'm sure he's done plenty of drug trafficking, extortion, blackmail, and murder. Maybe even worse. People act like he's an innocent soul, but clearly he's not. Not saying he deserves eternal torment (almost nobody does), but I am curious to know more about him. Same with Vaggie. Aside from having a temper she doesn't seem like a bad person, so what did she do to get sent to Hell? Is getting sent to Hell always justified? Are Heaven the real villains of the story? Can't wait for the show to air. I just hope VivziePop was given full creative control, and that whoever picked it up didn't interfere with it. God I hope it's not Netflix.

If you pause at 4.01 in the Addict music video, you can see a sign that says 'it was all a dream', saying angel is dreaming this scenario up. Throughout the video, we see Cherri blowing up a lot of stuff, but if you pay attention you realize she's blowing up all the places and things that have hurt Angel. Basically, Angel is dreaming about having someone protect him from all the awful stuff in his life, and Cherri is the only one who really cares about him and would do all those things for him if she could.

Catchy yet depressing is a good way to put the subject of the title, afterall.

Vivzie making us gay for Angel and Stolas. Not in a "Damn, they're hot" kinda way, but more like "Hey, I want to love you, protect you, and tell you that everything will be okay." sorta way.

If you rewatch it, you can see more to angel dusts character in the pilot. He comes off as cocky and selfish, but he has a few moments where A) he does push cherri out of the way and gets captured instead showing he does care about someone and b) when he sees Charlie upset his expression changes and you can see he's about to say something, but gives up and turns away, showing he does feel guilt for what he did but not quite there yet to apologize or reach out to someone else.

Fun Fact: The demon that Angel kicked at 3:18 was Travis from the pilot.

"Oh, this is going to be dark huh?" You have no idea. The after credits piece has the absolute best of the lyrics in the entire song. "Another rush of poison flowing into my veins. Giving me a dose of pleasure that resides by the pain." DAMN. Absolutely nailed the description of addiction. And Angel knows exactly what is going on. And wants it to end, but also doesn't want it to stop. He is absolutely one of the most tragic figures I've ever seen. The sexual abuse and rape that must be constant, him sobbing on the seedy hotel bed as Cherri just sits with him. Holy crap this is dark. And the music is absolutely freaking amazing.

This music video gives a whole new feeling to the "I owed my girl buddy a solid" line during the pilot.

I disregard those people who hate you for wanting to to pause and rewind the videos. I actually love the fact that you take extra time to go back and analyse what you see and hear. The entire point of reactions should be the deep analysis of the videos, and not just to dumbly stare and laugh. You are putting in extra effort into this by actually trying to understand what you're being shown. That outranks any complaints of "You pause and rewind too much!".

Though I have my own personal pet peeves as well, such as when some reactors cut down their reaction videos and lock them behind Patreon paywalls. But it's worse when they don't even mention it right off the bat. Now that's just like playing a cruel joke on people.

I did both. I listened and focused on the lyrics, then watched it again to match the lyrics with the imagery.

This video alone is what made Cherri my favorite character. I already really liked her design and attitude, but the fact she's so ride-or-die for her friend makes me really love her

This music video really made me feel sorry for Angel, as well as respect Cherri for being there for Angel. Related Note: I personally hope Valentino (Angel’s boss) gets erased by the Exorcists for what he’s done to poor Angel.

It's Hell, so I figured Lucifer respected the Overlords, how evil and powerful they are, with the privilege to torment the rest of the Sinners. Granted they also deserved to taste their own medicine, but I'm thinking they're helping out in punishing others with their own sins. Angel with Addiction leading to highs and really low lows, and does so repeatedly in the afterlife. So Val is doing his job, allowed by Lucifer, and I sort of respect that, in a, "The Devil isn't a bad guy, he's just doing his job and that is punishing sinners.", kind of way.

I don't know why but the end where Angel is singing by himself is my favourite part. It's kind of sad but also pretty sounding.

"VALENTINO" - Hazbin Hotel Fan Animatic is pretty good, isn't canon, but is made by the same person who storyboarded Addict. Viv even retweeted this and liked it as it's own thing. Features three characters as well, two you already know, and one that's Alastor's rival, the TV demon.

Also in cherrie's part, she's destroying the signs that probably have hurted angel.

As a person who is still dealing with addiction, I relate to this song. You feel (or at least in my case you do) that the madness and anything negative that happens is your fault. Nobody takes the timento care or ask what started you down that dark path because they just prefer to make assumptions

Val's full name is in fact Valentino, and he apparently has a boyfriend and their relationship is as toxic as you'd imagine it to be

I have ptsd from violent trauma. The reprise at the end there, is a great representation of how ptsd can come up suddenly and change a day over basically nothing. How many times do you catch your reflection each day?

From what we know so far (unless there was ne info released that I missed), the dude that keeps apearing in this video is called "Valentino", or "Val" for short. You guessed right in that he is Angle Dusts pimp/"employer". As established in Hazbin Hotels pilote, Cherry Bomb and Angel Dust are friends, and acording to this video she aparantly wasn't a big fan of Valentino or his establishments, becouse of what he does to Angel Dust. She is seen bombing his strip clubs in this music video, and it seems like she was the one who ultimately got Angel Dust away from him. Or well, as "away" as she could get him. There is also a comic going more into Angel Dust and Valentinos "work relationship".

This was originally a fan-made song, but when Vivzie heard it, she loved it so much she had her team make the animation and made it canon to the Hotel-verse.

This was originally a fan-made song written and composed by Silva Hound, who had gotten permission from Vivziepop to not only make this song, but to also use Michael Kovach's (Angel Dust's pilot voice actor.) vocals for it. 2. The song was such a smashing success to both us the fandom and more importantly Viv and her team that they storyboarded and animated the music video and made it part of the official canon. 3. The music video was so good that it became the most viewed video on Viv's channel with over 100 million views today! What a Reach!!! 4. This video made Angel Dust's boss, (I won't say his name just for you.) the Kikimora of Hazbin Hotel. The character we just love in hating and sh***ing on them. That's all the facts I have

*Fun Fact:* In early development, Cherri was planned to be Angel's daughter who was in Heaven.

The music itself is also supposed to feel the same way drugs make you. It's a massive build up that's almost incomprehensible and bouncy and fun and then slowly falls into a somber low.

With the show now airing, this is just a taste of the awesome. In fact, there's a scene with the new song Poison where he looks like he's making a new music video while his exploitation is exposed on screens behind him which i think may be a reference to this video as well.

The best thing to watch next in the Hazbin Hotel space would probably be "Dirty Dealings" Official comic, voice dubbed by the *incredible* Paranoid DJ (a fan creator) Serves as a prequel to the pilot

There’s some other songs I think you’d adore. Black Gryph0n also did one called Alastor’s song titled Insane that’s a very demonic Jazzy/1920’s song. It’s very very amazing. Then there’s another Angel Dust song called Use Me Up that I believe is also by the VA who does Angel Dust but don’t quote me on that. I kinda like how Vivzie kinda uses of satanic or diabolical themes to talk about the journey of becoming a better human being despite your shadows bringing you back to whatever your sins are. I guess this will be the main message of Hazbin, trying to be a better self despite your "sins", and traumas, heal your soul from the darkness that resides in you.

Did you know that there are a bunch of fan made Hazbin Hotel Songs already made? I think ‘Phantom’ a Alastor song, might be your kind of music with it being rock.

The fun thing about this video is that the song itself was written by a fan of the pilot. He actually got the original VA for Angel to sing. Song found its way back to Vivzie and she produced the animation to sync to the music.

Honestly for a while I thought Valentino was just standing behind Angel then on a reaction I saw, not this one but still, the guy paused it and I realized just how wrong I was holy crap

I think I heard somewhere that the animation is so spot on was because she worked with the Hazbin Hotel's crew at some point? Not 100% on that part but it's still a really dang good video. Any music vid from PARANOiD DJ is good too, no full animation for his stuff thou.

So Cherri Bomb`s an Aussie demon hence her lyric including the word "Mate" and the dude in her flashback having an Aussie safari hat. The reason she had an American accent in the Pilot and first few music videos is by the time Vivienne decided Cherri was an Aussie her dialogue was already recorded and it was too late to change it. This was rectified in the series proper.

I admire how honestly they dealt with the subjects... some heavy stuff.

Often it refers to something (such as an opinion about a political or moral issue) that can be used to make a judgment about whether someone or something is acceptable or not. Since the shows premise is about changing one's character and this video is about Angle's addition and abuse it fit.

As a fellow metalhead I did not see that coming Wow I thought you listened to, I don't know, 70's rock (which btw is pure art and incredible music) Well Good to know Despite all this the vibe I got from the music video and the premiere of Hazbin Hotel was this impossible mission of redemption for demons, maybe a slow realization that some people just don't want to change, to learn to embrace our true identity, which could be good or evil or simply just chaotic I don't know this is my opinion for now

As grim as this video is in places, I actually find it reassuring because I came away with the strong impression that Vivziepop takes sexual assault seriously. As over-the-top violent and callous as the Helluva Boss characters are, there's limits past which most of us would no longer find them funny or sympathetic.
