NARRATIVE, MOVING ABROAD, COVID-19, MEXICO
In this video, I’ll highlight some of the reasons why I decided to move to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and talk about the current situation during the Covid-19 pandemic. Nomads have discovered Puerto Vallarta as a great place to work remotely. Retires have been moving here for years because of the warm weather and affordable lifestyle. It has friendly, welcoming people, great food, art, modern conveniences, luxury… as well as the traditional cobblestone streets that lend to the charm of the historic city center.

I worked in Mexico City for 5 and a half years to get my permenate resident, so it's easier for me to buy property. After my next jump overseas, this is where I am retiring. Love the people of Mexico. People back home in NJ ask me all the time is Mexico dangerous? My response safer than Camden, Chicago, Detroit, etc. Just remember it's not the US and it's not for everyone. Damn good time for this simple mathematician.

I just spent some time in Puerto Vallarta Mexico and I’m ready to head back down to United States and the cold weather. You were right the sun and the weather is very healthy and I feel a lot better since I’ve been here. It is humid here but it’s a good humidity because it has cleared up my sinuses. Yes I’ll be going back to cold snowy weather and I know I’m going to be depressed for a couple weeks with the lack of sunshine. The beaches are amazing. The people are very friendly. And the food is outstanding. I feel like I’m living the dream in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. I can understand why you would want to move here because it is paradise. Happy new year.

There is something magical & very special about PV. Just spent 2 1/2 months here & finally pulled the trigger & bought a beach front studio at Harbor 171 (Hotel Zone) Falling asleep & waking to the sound of the waves does wonders for your overall health well being. We plan on spending 4-5 months a year down here in Paradise. The people are wonderful, the weather is incredibly predictable, the cost of living is very reasonable, and we get to live on the “fun side of the wall”🇲🇽😎

I've got to check this place out. I'm a surfer and fisherman, but don't like being so far from the beach and ocean here in Joshua Tree, CA. But I'm here because it's less expensive than where I was in Orange County near Huntington Beach, and the desert has it's beauty. I want to travel and investigate places outside of the US in warmer climes, especially where I can go surfing everyday in warm water, so I plan to do some touring and staying in different places as long as I'm still single and before I tie myself to a mortgage or sink cash into a piece of real estate.
