She's living in a very small and not super developed little town in Mexico, this doesn't really reflect the average of Mexico. Weirdly enough she chose to live precisely in one of these little towns, many Us people go to live to places like San Luis Potosi, Cancun, Acapulco, Guadalajara or Monterrey

Muy buen video, Elysse. Soy de Veracruz, pero de la parte norte del estado, mi ciudad no es turística ni nada pero vivo cerca de Papantla, Veracruz y tiene una vibra similar a Orizaba, ambos son pueblos mágicos, pero claro, cada pueblito tiene sus peculiaridades y encantos y pues qué bueno que te des el tiempo de conocer mi estado. Todavía siento que Veracruz no tiene tanto turismo internacional como otros estados de México. Se logra observar más un turismo nacional, pero qué bien que poco a poco estemos teniendo protagonismo. Disfruta mucho de tus días aquí, se nota desde muy lejos que amas a México con todo tu corazón. Hay muchos influencers que solo lucran con su falso "amor" KZread está repleto de ellos, pero contigo es muy diferente. Conoces tantas expresiones, modismos, datos culturales, hasta la historia de nuestro bello México. Nunca cambies, sigue siendo tan tú por siempre, saludos.

I live in the Yucatan and love it here but you can not take something that originated in the US as racist and HARMFUL sterotype for Black people and try to call it sweet because Mexicans decided to try and "make" it sweet in you music or Tv. It's HIGHLY offensive. Imagine something that Mexicans find horrifically racist to you and has done harm to you and let some other country use that and call it endearing, that still wont change how Mexicans feel about it just because it had nothing to do with my country. If you can not find something that is horribly racist and offensive to Mexicans, then consider yourself a fortunate group of people. I really hate when people choose to be obtuse about common logic to fit a narrative that allows people to stay ignorant and live with cognitive dissonance.

Me ha gustado muchísimo tu video bilingüe, sobretodo como brincas del inglés al español. También soy bilingüe y te felicito has logrado un video muy grato de ver y disfrutar lo que haces, no creo poder hacerlo con el mismo éxito. Bravo!!

Omg I'm from colombia, and the costumer service is also amazing ! I went to LEVIS! AND GOT such amazing costumer service and the girl helping legit was so happy to find jeans I loved. In Canada where I live... you walk into those stores and lost and unless you know specifically what you want you won't get personalized help like you do in South America. ❤

I love how you can switch back and forth between English and Spanish, I could never lol I feel super different when speaking each of these two and I always need some time to process the switch hahaha (neither one is a native language to me)

Amo Orizaba. Crecí en Xalapa e iba muy seguido a Orizaba, algo que me gustaba mucho de Veracruz es que hay muchos pueblitos cerca entonces mis salidas en fin de semana era ir lugares como Orizaba o lugares más cercanos de Xalapa como Coatepec, Xico o Naolinco, que sí no los conoces te los recomiendo muchísimo. Ahora mismo vivo en Ciudad de México y la verdad no hay día en el que no extrañe la calidez de vivir en Veracruz, la gente es muy amable y en general más relajada comparado con lo estresante que es vivir en CDMX. Voy relativamente seguido a Xalapa porque mi familia sigue viviendo ahí pero espero volver a vivir por esos rumbos algún día.

Dear Elysse: Nahuatl was spoken all the way down to the Pacific coast of Centralamerica. The center was Mexica (or Mixica). When Cortés arrived in Centralamerica the indigenous folk with him could comunicate directly with the locals.

No true. There were many tributes in mesoamerica. Nahuatl was only spoken in central Mexico not centro america. There are more than 65 dialects only in Mexico. Cortez could NOT speak to the indigenous he used interpreters la malinche was one of them

I work at a store called boot barn where we sell boots and other western wear. If your boots are tight you can have them stretched out. Just make sure that if you find a place that stretches boots that they spray them with boot stretcher liquid so that they don’t get damaged. Saludos 🍻
