I've been out of a job for 5 years. I've gotten to where I'm digging aluminum cans out of dumpsters to make money along with scrap metal. I'm apart of the hidden homeless since September 2018. Mom took me into her home which she was diagnosed with lung and liver cancer may 16th 2022. I'm trying to care for her and struggle getting a w2 job. Yet I feel like existing life do to a brother that's physically abusive towards. The place I'm in I can stay in as long as I pay 700 dollars per month yet I can't do that dollar amount without help. I'm middle-aged and I feel as though suicide is the only way out

Update: I've been applying for jobs guys. I keep getting many interviews for different job roles at one record label yet they won't hire me 💔 I am trying to act like this doesn't phase me but it does. I have been buying and paying off my furniture with money I make through my freelance work. I'm almost done with everything but my issue is still getting a job for financial security and stability. My late god grand mother tried to fix things between me and my mum but the peace lasted only a while. I still get those irking jabs at my confidence and insecurities so... It's a must to move out. I am hoping to make my leap next month as my furniture will be paid off then. As for a job, idk. I guess it is what it is!🤷🏾♀️

@@lilymn1382 I’m at this point and I won’t be moving till summer (June) when my current lease is up. I just don’t know which state my heart is comfortable enough with being at. Great video, you did a great job explaining your feelings and thoughts. I appreciate your effort to be open and authentic even though its scary. It made it more relatable and helpful I think. A lot of what you said felt resonated with me. as a 23 year old who has taken an unconventional path as well, i'm basically in a similar situation. Not really sure where I'm going , but trying to figure it out. Thanks for your kind words and putting the effort into this video. Peace
i love your vulnerability in your content. this is motivational and sort of a big wave of relief knowing I’m not the only one feeling the way I’m feeling. please keep moving forward & staying positive

i know you're gonna get there. your work and videos are sooo good, i wish more people could find it. also, you look sooo pretty.
I appreciate your honesty. My biggest fear is getting somewhere and still not knowing what to do or how I want to move forward. I really just want to breathe and take a minute to slow down so watching your videos, and other peoples, is reassuring me that it's ok to have fear and doubts. that its actually normal and common w making such a big move. but this is giving me faith that it'll all start to make sense, but I have to open myself up to the journey and the possibility of it looking differently than I can even imagine. thanks for sharing your story!
This video was jst meant for Me thanks alot girl 💃, I m 32 and single, I have a good job and I still with my African parent, my mum is extremely dramatic, I was scared of what people will say if I move out of the family house, I get emotionally blackmailed by mum anytime I try to have my peace and space I love to clean my space and get things done the way I want it to be properly done, worst of all is how my married siblings come visiting and make me feel bad why I am still single, I need to take action like this weekend, get a good apartment, pay for it and go get my thing.. but I need advice how best to break the news to my parent without sounding disrespectful..cos I m traumatize right now and sometimes I feel I need to see a psychologist or a counsellor to heal from the pain I went through especially with my married siblings

Girly, I hope you're doing okay , but please put yourself first because you're important and your feelings are valid. Trust me , I understand this feeling too well! Family can be soon negative, and the thing is when they come around, you just know you're gonna be judged and feel awful, not being st at their level or being different. I hope you tell your parents that you are thankful for them from helping you but you have chosen to leave in order to focus on school, work, etc. Just tell them you will visit them and that you love them .

I definitely think that if you feel unsafe in your environment you deserve a change. I would start by looking into creating an income that allows you to save up to move, and/or jobs that would pay you to relocate. I definitely know that the process looks different for everyone but it does happen eventually. In the meantime, I would also develop healthy coping mechanisms for your current environment. As hard as it may be, it will help you to sustain. I really hope all improves for you. Feel free to DM me if you need to ✨ Sending you love!
