I'm taking the rest of 2024 to heal. I just turned 34 last June 23. And I lost my younger brother last February. My career (self employed fashion designer) is not where I want it to be. Letting go of a limerent object (that I still think is my soulmate). Healing from a lot of CPTSD. And with the world at its current state. I need a rest to slow down and really reconnect with my roots. 😔🩷🌷🐇

Thank you for showing this part of your life! I am starting over at 30 after a 7 year relationship ended and a new degree. I'm learning to put myself first.

First of all this is a great video and I am glad it came up in my recommended! Personally when I think about consistency and momentum, I MUST bring up PURPOSE and MEANING because those are the things that give the consistency and momentum VALUE. Example: If I am consistent with going to my 9-5 job that I HATE, I can easily get into a state of momentum where I am following a routine however, there's no REAL meaning in it for me. Contrast: If I am consistent with going to the gym (and I LOVE IT!), I actually have a DESIRE to get into a momentum that keeps me MOTIVATED and INCENTIVIZED to continue on. I am ok with not posting CONSISTENTLY if it means I put out material that has little to no VALUE to ME. I can easily and QUICKLY put out a video every day however, I know in my heart that it isn't TRULY from my HEART and that to me... is NOT worth being consistent about. Without attaching meaning and purpose to what I am doing, I run the risk of "going through the motions" and becoming a zombie who is consistently doing things of little to no value. Ok.. I'm done! Thanks for this video and thanks for the encouragement! I wish you NOTHING but the best! Keep up the great work! 💪🏾

For me consistency is like the energy I put into my priorities. And I realize that that means applying a life system that I built to live with an ED, to other parts of my life. And Its just Doing What You Can, right? (If I dont have the energy to cook because I havent eaten, what do I have the energy to cook? If thats nothing, Then what can I drink?) but as im unlearning strict perfectionism, I think its a structure that will really allow me to build strength in other areas of my life, like studying and skin care ☺️And I should probably even like, write the steps out, so I dont have to remember how to give myself a break when Im pushing myself really hard. I love these videos, thank you for sharing with us! Im healing and your videos help me stop judging myself for a moment and I really appreciate that. Its super peaceful and productive. ❤❤

I love this perspective- consistency will look different depending on what goals we've set for ourselves and our goals should be unique to us and reflect what's realistic for us!

Living with your parents will stunt your growth . However, you do want to leave when your hearrt truly desire the peace and freedom. It is tough out here but with a job and a good car youre good. We all must see the world for ourselves and our parents for so long try shield uss from the uncertainty which prevent us from growing or seeking self adventures.

Wow. Firstly I relate to you so much girl, thank you for sharing! Currently my job is teaching me so much discipline that I did not have as an entrepreneur/freelance graphic designer. The consistent pay and structure from my job has allowed me to be more free creatively and focus on thriving instead of surviving!

This video is just what I needed to hear! I have accepted that I am a planner and the advice from other creators about "niche-ing down", etc, don't apply to me. I need to be able to express myself and move past the perfectionism I hold towards my art. Being in grad school threw off the momentum I built towards my projects and now I am finally prioritizing them 🥰

“Don’t except things that don’t align with what you want” that’s such a simple saying yet hold so much weight . Easier said than done . But in reality standards needs to be set for where you want to be at in life and what kind of life you want to have . No one else is responsible for where you’re at right now other than your self and the habits you continue to nurture . I just found your channel and I really love these talks you have

Love this video! Recently my “creating more while using less creative energy” is by repurposing content. Yesterday I had posted a 8 min TikTok video that I was skeptical about. Once I saw it in vertical I wanted to post on KZread but didn’t know how to make it horizontal. But I was able to creatively finesse and make it horizontal friendly! I also agree that our inspiration comes mostly from within and also from external sources that actually benefit us (ex. Being outside, hanging with friends, podcasts, etc)
