@@greedyyawgoo5635 You misunderstand how AAA devs use unreal engine - most AAA projects will almost always use heavily modified versions of the engine available to the public, CDPR will not simply get rid of their tech team, instead they will work on adapting UE for use in their games. Most big UE games are stuttery on PC because they're console first games or simply just ported from console and so the studios developing these games usually dont bother making any extremely specific PC optimisations, not because it's impossible to reduce or get rid of the stutterring.

Most people in Software don’t become game developers. Working for Banks, SW firms, and others are much more profitable and the big corps have very relax deadline. And on top of that you could do and be ANYTHING you want in the game? Not even rockstar with 2000 people given 7 years of time could make something like that. I just want to point out that the Stanley Parable made a joke about a game where you could do literally anything in their game. That's how unrealistic those promises are, joke worthy. I'm impressed from the visuals alone tbh and want to play the game but i need more RAM on my pc (only 8 gigs rn) i've grown more into the world as well but i wouldn't ever expect any game this decade to live up to THAT level of promise.

Not because modders are bad, they're gods. Its because the game can't handle it and they're not industrial professionals. It is just unfair, and CDPR loves that. It helps sell a broken game.

Some really great QOL stuff in here. HUDitor in particular is a no-brainer, since your HUD should be adjustable in reality anyway, considering the setting. I am still waiting for police to be a faction you can interact with (instead of just kill), for buildings to be accessible at all times of the day (even if you have to break in, and yes, even the ones that aren't really accessible), for the three origin choices to actually mean something (like actually re-entering corpo life if you want), for other apartments to be open for rent, for a reason to go back to your apartment, for the NPCs around your apartments to be different and for each place to have its own atmosphere, for actual immersive red-light content (instead of literally 2 rent-girls/boys and one side piece that goes absolutely nowhere), and for cars to be sold on lots instead of through an app on V's phone. Actually, the more I watched this video, the more I wondered "why wasn't the vast majority of this stuff in the game upon release?" But so it goes.

Witcher 3 has a big modding base as well. Besides, you can't possibly compare it to Bethesda products or Bethesda modding since they have the GECK. Bethesda cracked the code, they know how to make open world games, so modding there is just building upon that. @@jase276 (note: couldn`t find your other comment so i`m replying to it on this one) Skyrim does indeed have schedules for most if not all of it`s NPCs however CDPR specifically said there would be 1000+ unique NPCs with schedules which is way more then Skyrim`s NPC count and significantly more then RDR2`s count as well, in fact i haven`t seen or heard of a single game that even comes close to that number with that approach to NPCs. and as for shaping you`re character however you want? eh I mean I guess you can but it is very simple. you get races to choose from but the differences they have are so minor in actual gameplay it might as well mean nothing other then appearance. classes don`t exist either and the closest thing that you could consider a "class" in the game is a choice between "warrior" "mage" and "thief" (huh kind of like CP77 origins I just noticed that) which the game disguises as perks with crossover perks between the "classes" to further disguise the 3 choice system. You like stealth? thief perks or "green perks", like melee? warrior perks or "red perks" and if you like magic then mage perks or "blue perks" it`s that simple and as for Roleplaying it might as well not exist in game either since like I said race does nothing other then make you look different and give you a single unique perk that depending on the race is useless or not after the first hour or so of gameplay. speech is the same no matter what, combat is the same no matter what (and I mean the races add nothing to the 3 choices I listed earlier), and that's not even talking about the fact that the game always starts the same way with the convenient "you are a prisoner who means nothing yet are the chosen one" trope that is in every TES game (which upon thinking about it makes the roleplaying part of the game even more irrelevant). my point is that yes CDPR needed more time and manpower, yes CP77 isn`t what was promised but some of the things they promised were in my eyes too good to be true with how outlandish they were (like Bethesda saying Starfield will have 1000 handmade planets yeah right), and some I do genuinely feel should have been in the game like story choices with consequences and being able to do story missions depending on you`re build (reminder that somehow FONV had that but like 100 times over in one game that was made in 18 months like... HOW).

Lots of very cool mods! Have you considered adding this as a collection on the Nexus?

+1,000,000. Manually adding this many mods is IMO very daunting and overwhelming and I'm not even new to modding. A collection I could download would be insanely useful!

The game was way ahead of its time, the engine was pushed beyond its limits, this game could be pheasable in the near future, in Unreal Engine 5 and a big dev crew.
