Take the Metera challenge. Always good to take a “low tier” character and give them some shine. Characters are only as good as the person playing them. High tier means nothing if you can’t pull off the combos and set ups. Vaseraga would also be an interesting change of pace for you. Not typically a Diaphone style character.

to be fair the combo diaphone was doing towards the end only works on crouchers or by hit confirming c.H, seox's damage is on the lower end for his standard combos compared to other characters, not MUCH lower but still

@@Uooooooooooooh You don't always need to hit crouchers or confirm from c.H to do very high damage in the corner thanks to the fact that c.L links into c.H which then combos into 214H. Because his c.L is such a common pressure starter for him, it's a very practical combo starter as well.

I mean with how fast Seox can throw out attacks, throw out parries in neutral and etc, it isn't so surprising he's one of the top tiers lol. The mixups you can do with him though can be so good tho.

Yeah I recently started playing and im not the most avid fighting game player out there and even I feel Seox at the low end is pretty easy to pick up and then develop all the way to when you get better at the game. Another thing im trying to get better at with Seox is using the hold versions of his counter since in some situations they lead to a full punish instead of just knocking the opponent away.

I’m a seox main and I’ve been eagerly waiting for exactly this video lmao

something a lot of people forget about is how the bravery point system benefits him, even though his raw damage output isnt as high as the other high tiers, his ability to just, keep mauling you till you have to spend a brave point because of how good his frame data is, is second to none. It allows him to effectively cover his (barely) lower damage per combo

Game is amazing but Nier, Seox, Zeta and Lance certainly need some tweaks at least. Diaphone, how do you feel about the game in general. Do you think it is going to stick around? I have a good feeling about it.

I have such a hard time fighting beelzbulb . His range on his melee attacks are so annoying and his full screen row of blades projectile is hard to deal with because you never know if hes going to hold it to charge and throws off My dodge timing. Teleports are annoying to deal with and stupid orb that pulls you in. Anyone got any tips? (I'm a grimnir main if that helps)

Use rekka for basic blockstrings (236L~6L~4U is gapless and mostly safe), situational pressure (236L~8L has a gap but is + on block) and confirms (236L~6L~4L is a basic combo ender but is unsafe on block). Use [2]8X on a projectile read or as a situational whiff punish (the ultimate version is hilarious and will score you wins in lower ranks until people start spot dodging it). Use 214H to extend block pressure when you get in (+3) and use j.214H (preferable if you can tiger knee it) in neutral for approaches. Otherwise just check his dustloop page for more info and watch high level vods to get a better picture on how to play him.

Six is actually his Japanese name. All of the Eternal members got their name changed in localization. Seox is Six, Andre is Uno and Seofon is Siete. Their names are just number in different languages

As a gacha player, ever since I got Seox and uncapped him to 5* he has not left my dark team. Bro has stayed in the exact same position for like, 3 years straight. Glad to know that nothing changed in the fighting game

A little Seox counterplay for the comments. At 7:37 Seox goes into his EX rekka series. After the up kicks, Seox will typically either use his dash back option or his flip which is plus and resets his pressure. The dash back is very difficult to punish, as you can see Mocchi whiffing his super against it. But a fast dash attack will beat it. After the up kicks, if you dash attack by inputting forward first then immediately dash + light (pressing 66 is too slow to work for me on stick) you will catch his dash back and get a counter hit. The timing is a bit weird because of the blockstun, but go into training mode and give it a try. You'll get the timing after a bit. You cannot do this on reaction to seeing the backdash, it is a call-out after the up kicks. If Seox is doing the non-ex rekka, the dash attack also beats the flip reset option! The flip is a bit slow on non-ex. On ex rekka, the flip unfortunately crushes the dash attack, so be careful. But the flip is mashable, so making Seox even consider not doing the dash back is a huge defensive win.

It definitely takes some getting used to. But he's pretty easy to catch after the rekka. You can even punish him or force him to block after his backdash. He's definitely up there though.

Now master metera to prove that my parents love me.
