Diaphones fundamentals frankly is incredible to watch, in the course of a 2 hour period (though I'm sure he had played a bit before shooting the video) he picked up Lucilius took him to masters and then went toe to toe with the likes of Beesu. It's not like he was playing completely optimally either, he dropped combos and missed opportunities to finish off his opponents a number of times, but his fundamentals made up for all of that. Always a pleasure to watch you Diaphone, keep up the good work.

I came to learn Lucillius and found myself getting wrecked at 15:45. I am TwistedAsura, the Sieg player lol. I remember the first week or so Luci was out I had no idea what to do against him, I was just throwing out moves and praying haha. Great vid!

He's supposed to be balanced around long cooldowns but then he has amazing neutral buttons. Its still too early to say but he has a whiff of DLC privilege.

@@Grace_Novamon I agree that he's probably not but man his neutral is way better than I'd have expected on the face of it. He's the type of character that might get there if the right tech/setups are there since he's not as straight forward as other characters to play.

Don’t block, it’s plus. It’s very 2Hable and spot dodgeable, both can be done on reaction and cover the L and M version as well respectively

Lol it wasn't meterless diaphone... you used an ultimate, that being said you did get 40 out of the 50 bar spent back so the cost isn't bad but it does require you to first have 50 bar to spend

I'm starting to feel Siegrief is really not as good as people make him out to be. His offense is pretty predictable, and his mid screen conversion is pretty weak.

Midscreen he has ex fireball into 2m into literally any special his midscreen is good and 22x has great corner carry

Almost any midscreen hit with Siegfried will convert to a combo that puts the enemy in corner. That is part of why he is so good

Sieg is def good, but yea compared to luci he lacks in those departments. But he also has one of the best DPs and a great fireball and one of the best moves to just throw out after a poke (stance), I still rate him quite highly

Sieg is just slow but has crazy pressure, good mixes, insane followup post-fireball, unblockable super armor reset, and basically launches anyone into corner at Mach 1. If you’re losing as sieg I’d recommend playing slower, depend on dp less (it’s nuts but mixing your reversals up is important or you’re too predictable) and abuse his midscreen potential bc his sword is MASSIVE. Also the reset is nuts you can effectively TOD people that aren’t ready for it.

Diaphone is my favorite FGC creator, but this game is absolute dogshit, and It's so unbelievably boring to watch him play it, but he I am, watching this game made for toddlers. Lmao it's like Modern controls in sf6, but you can't escape them. Thank god auto combos aren't good in sf6.
