Deepslate gang! One of my favorite new blocks for sure. (it might not be that new, but it's new to me because I haven't played the game in years, lmao)

I dont like stone bricks that much but mud bricks with packed mud looks nice and is low effort. and btw for the ig farm, the reason they were spawning in the blocks was because glass is considered to be not 100% solid, like fences so the game would spawn the ig's in the blocks, making the glass something like deepslate would fix the problem.

True stone bricks are so common now 🤣🤣but it feels like a natural instinct when building.

Sure you can use any blocks for a farm, but stone bricks just happen to look prettier than stones themselves. 🤷‍♂️ Heck, no need to compare with cobblestones. Although personally I wouldn't mind using deepslate bricks. =P I've never seen an iron farm like that. I've only used one with zombies.

Hiya J, that's a huge iron farm. I like the wall that looks like a furnace too. I remember college days, and working on campus. Definitely know what it's like to grow up move out, and have my kids do that. There is always work, but enjoying your abilities to share days with people that are happy with you; that makes life precious. I appreciate the fun Minecraft videos you share with all of us. my go to block for building farms has always been smooth stone!! and if i need any slabs/stairs/walls, then i go for stone/stone brick! smooth stone is criminally underrated

Sad that the series has to end. In the next one, you should build your iron farm on a giant hill and encase it in a giant fortress to make it look good!

I have it ingrained in my head that cobble is for crafting so I use stone for crafting and use deepslate variants for building in general/farms

1:06 stone brick is the cheapest and easiest block to mass produced without requiring special tools

You can build a castle around the iron farm.

Stripped logs, logs and planks and glass is a good design

For me the main building block isn't a one block specificly , I use a mix of blocks which is black concrete , quartz blocks and white concrete GREAT VID 😄

The golems are spawning in the glass because glass is considered a non-solid block and basically treated as air for the sake of spawning. Basically the iron golems are spawning on the edge spawnable block and because they are bigger than a block half of them can be in the glass. Expand them by 1 block and add a glass perimiter around the edge so they cant spawn on that edge block (glass)

Quartz Blocks in Checker patterns with any other block, So good! try it out if you like.

Dude, if you put a zombie 5 blocks above where the iron golems landed, it might be easier for the golems to fall :)

Honestly any of the stone brick variants are my go to blocks to build with

Use walls on the edges of your spawn platform instead of glass or full blocks. The iron golems will attempt to spawn on a block, and since the golems are two wide they will partially glitch into an adjacent block. If that adjacent block is a full block they will get stuck.

Iron golems often tend to get stuck in solid blocks and fences. Just replace them with iron bars(2 blocks high minimum).somehow iron bars fix it glass panes also may fix it but havent tried panes yet

Favorite block: anything with Deepslape😋

You should do 100 days in minecraft hardcore please

His channel was hacked, and so his entire series saves where wiped when he had to factory reset his computer. So he will be starting something new after he uploads the last few videos he had saved in a backup storage. The original Minecraft world is gone.

I usually build my farms with smooth stone or deepslate bricks. Occasionally, I'll build with brick blocks.

Smooth stone or stone brick is my go to building block

mobs can spawn inside glass, the golems were not moving because they were standing on the non glass blocks under the glass blocks. a fix to this is using not glass or making the blocks under the glass also glass

all the deepslate varients are my fav blocks

I’m just wondering why this works as I can’t see any zombies?

if you make the glass blocks a regular solid block they wont get stcuk in it because glass is like leaves they cant suffocate you so the spawn in it a lil bit

stone block is the default cause it was very opular used in the old faction severs and it was transferred over to that

Hey bro this farm farm is good but vyllager can see iron golem like 20 blocks so if top vyllager spawn spawn golem first floor vyllagers reser their stats to spawn iron golem so its not effitient. This is not hate. Its like information

my favorite block is Birch log

Stone brick is so easy to get early game, so early farms are made of Stone brick. No one wanted a big cobble only build 😦

Could one change the glass block under the fence with ice for “speed”? Why this design over one with 3 villagers and a Zombie ? I used your “old” compact iron farm above ground, u made it into a garden-ish. Gives tons of iron :) Btw, F hackers !

No zombie on a cart going around to scare each villager?? It will quadruple your iron input and SUPER easy to set up red stone where he goes all around and stops at each villager for aboht 45 seconds to a minute then one to the next

in your next world if you put walls then they wont spawn in the block since they are not full blocks
