Nice minimal farm. The light level of 7 or less only applies to spawning in swamp biomes. In a slime chunk, they don't care about light level so you can be fully lit

@@Pheeliya Unfortunately not, but they will spawn on torches, brown mushrooms, jack-o-lanterns, and some other light emitting blocks.

Only one slime spawned in my slime farm in 20 Minecraft days :( I must not have lit enough of the caverns around it. They are EVERYWHERE. This is proving to be a very difficult thing. A swamp biome is sounding better. From my calculations, his AFK point was 127 blocks above the farm. Is there where I should be ?

I just recently built a slime farm in a swamp and you should probably build one in a swamp next time you build a slime farm because I got 4 double chests of slime over night. This is just a suggestion, you do you. Thanks for the awesome video! I love building a slime farm in a slime chunk though, it is fun mining out the blocks for the platforms.

That concrete farm is the most simple farm I’ve seen in a while… crazy lol. Also the big slime guy is absolutely adorable! I think the name Chuck fits him. Like Chuck the Slime of the slime chunk 😂

You should name the slime "Herbert". Herbert the pervert because he will always be watching you

Use brown mushrooms for your areas with redstone torches. they emmit light and wont take up spawning spaces like the redstone torches does. "kinda big deal since the slimes are big boys"

I think you should use shaders more often,its a great addition to your already bright videos🤗

In older versions I've used jack-o'-lanterns in the floor as spawnable blocks still casting light.. are you sure about needing light at 7 or less? Slime chunks I thought spawned the slime in any light with only the Y level mattering.

Did you make sure that your afk area is 25 blocks away from the chunk. Also make sure that caves within a 50 block area around the slime chunk are lit. Also you can stack platforms to increase the slimes.

That's ironic. I only started this game about 2 months ago, on Xbox, and focus on mini farms. I was planning to make a slime farm that also looked like a slime on the outside. Already made a honey farm that looks like a bee. And if I didn't place my iron farm underground, I would have made it look like the golem's head. But now It's going to look like I'm copying you.😣

Side Note: I realized early on that It's best to use mud blocks with basic hoppers under it. Leading to chests, of course. I also love using glass and bubble elevators to move farm goodies up to my level. Meaning I never have to go down to the farms.

i think you should call it the truffle shuffle refence too the movie the goonies chunk was the big boy that made friends with the one chain to the wall i forgot his name but i watch that movie when ever it comes on tv so i seen it at least 50 times over the years

I don't think your information is correct, the light level of less than 7 only applies to swamp biomes. Slime chunks in any other location will spawn slimes no matter the level of light.
