no literally! i made the mistake of getting the reptibreeze chameleon kit, hated it. taking it back immediately. the bulbs are absolutely not powerful enough and the enclosure is only suitable for a baby/juvenile and that’s IT! no adults at all, it’s just too small. i ordered a bigger glass/mesh hybrid online and it is a life changer. eliminate those damn kits! they want to just make things cheaper for the buyer but if you’re buying a chameleon, price shouldn’t be a factor in your consideration

I LOVE THIS!!!!!!! easy for beginners and will save a lot of cham lives! Now we just need to get these kits in pet stores for impulse cham buyers too!

@@NeptunetheChameleon Hey! I do actually have a question about the heat lamp and reflector dome. Is it ok to sit this directly on top of the enclosure? The bulb sticks out just a tiny bit farther than the dome, and I’m afraid it will get too hot on it. Also, how far away from the basking spot should I put this and the ubv light? I am going to check out the video you have on lights and see if I missed it. Thanks again!

Hello! Can you please shoot me a message on Instagram @neptunethechameleon? I'd love to see what the bulb looks like in the fixture. I was only sent the Advanced Kit which comes with a different fixture as you mentioned. The basking branch should be 4-6" from the top of the enclosure!

Thank you!! Unfortunately, any fogger that has the collapsible tubing can be challenging to keep clean. But you can always swap it out for something like a PVC tube.

Amazing kit! I bought one and absolutely love it!!! I was wondering, does the 50 watt reptile branded bulb emit the same amount of heat as a 50 watt non-reptile branded bulb??

I'm so happy to hear you love it! The bulb that comes with the kit is a halogen which is going to be different than most non-reptile branded bulbs which are typically LEDs or incandescents.

Does the kit with the mist king kit come with that triangle corner piece for installing on cage, or is that a seperate purchase?

Im thinking of getting a panther and watching as many video's as i can on proper care for these beautiful animals, however both myself and my wife are not fans of bugs especially walking or flying around the house . You mention a few options regarding enclosure all glass it seems is a no no, hybrid and mesh im thinking mesh would allow small bugs out whereas hybrid only has the mesh ontop so less chance of escape. Am i correct.

I still use Arcadia bulbs in my other two enclosures. Arcadia bulbs can be hard to keep in stock and are usually a higher price tag which is why I opted for the Reptisun bulb for the kit :)

@neptunethechameleon I have a question!!!! My lil guy has just discovered his weewee from stranger things 😂 and he keeps popping it back out, all my research says that is not good but he will retract it back in only to push it back out. Is he overly excited 😂just learning about his manhood or what!?????? We’ve been keeping him and it moist by spraying /misting him and he will retract his appendages back in but a few moments later he’s got it back out

As long as it goes back in, then he will be totally fine. It's problematic if it pops out and is unable to be retracted. I'd be careful misting him so much as that can cause imbalances in your humidity and care. And I would look up a good vet if you haven't already just in case he does prolapse then you know where you can go!

Hello, i am struggling with keeping humidity up at night time for my chameleon. I have mist king and humidifier running throughout the night and drip system. I was wondering if running a heat emitter would be an issue ?

I’d suggest having the dripper drip onto plant leaves into the soil. Then your plants stay watered 👍

i have a question! what kind of panther is neptune?? i just recently picked my big boy up online from a reputable breeder, name is Rex! he’s a panther as well that looks exactly like neptune, red eyed as well! he was listed as ambilobe, but i was just curious if and what the name was for the more specific versions like Rex and Neptune?? if any!! tyyy!

Congrats on your new addition! Neptune is also an Ambilobe. Ambilobes are broken down by body and bar color. So Neptune is a yellow body, red bar (YBRB) Ambilobe. Hope that helps!

I’m confused on which enclosure to use. I live in Alaska and the pet store guy said because we are a dry state that I should use a glass enclosure, however things I’ve read state Chameleons can develop respiratory problems if in a glass enclosure…

That's very common especially for veiled chameleons. That's why it is so important that we use live plants and avoid using any fake plants.

They certainly can! Two of my other enclosures have diagonal lights but running them horizontally is still an effective way of providing your chameleon UVB. It also helps keep the kit at a lower price point.

Yes you can! Just make sure the cage is big enough for your chameleon and providing proper airflow, temps, and humidity.

What makes you say that? I'm looking on the website and I still see the tongs as a part of the kits.

I just watched this video and it contradicts a lot of your original videos! So disappointed. I just watched a video that said "No" D3 calcium and you just promoted with D3! That is just one example.

The supplement schedule I suggest in this kit is to use calcium without D3 every feeding and then 1-2x a month (frequency depends on species) use a multivitamin that has D3 in it. No where do I say to use calcium with D3 in this video and none of the supplements in the kit are calcium with D3. So I'm not sure where the contradiction is. The little bit of D3 in the multivitamin is beneficial for a chameleon. You just don't want to use calcium with D3 as your daily primary supplement. All of that is discussed in detail in my video on supplementation: kzread.info/dash/bejne/mYVplY-QopWsgLg.html. If there are any older videos that have outdated info, please let me know so I can take them down or update them. I have over 400 videos on KZread so I do my very best to try and keep the content as up to date as possible but I'm sure I've missed things.

Great content, the intelligibility of your voice is poor-you need a better mic or better postioning for picking up your voice.
