It's in the 1$ member ship? 🥺🥺🥺
As a guitar player, I'd love to see this prop made as a physical playable instrument. Might be a project for me in the far future. This is a great video!! I love foam props, the musician in me wants to play Hobie's guitar

A Les Paul model will work! Either Epiphone or Gibson

@@justquiro3112 you might want to use and Epiphone because Gibson is very expensive and you could get a similar tone using epiphone

Instructions: 1: Get a red Les Paul guitar 2: Get the decals and stuff 3: Scratch it up a little 4: done
For those curious about the kind of guitar spiderpunk uses, it's most likely a Gibson Les Paul or something of that variant with *a bunch of stickers* and it's kinda worn down. So do what you want with this info (Also in certain cases his guitar appears to be some kinda fender stratocaster, depends what image you're working off of and if you go by character sheets, comics, or movie)

Was here to say the same! Gibson/Epiphone Les Paul is the movie version. And yes, depending on the comic, it's usually a fender a stratocaster. Gibson SG i've also seen. There's a cover art with a weird looking one that looks to have a gibson style pickup (only covers the side) and head (like a Flying V's head), but has a fender jaguar/jazzmaster looking body, so it's a custom lol. Meanwhile in the Insomniac game, the Spider Punk guitar seems to be something in the lines of a Gibson Explorer

i think its an LP special given the lack of pickguard
Can’t wait for someone to get a LP style guitar to decorate into this guitar. Hobie’s guitar is based on a Gibson Les Paul guitar. I doubt he has a proper one due to how batshit expensive they are, but there’s a fuckton of off brand versions

It would be pretty on character for him to have stolen a real les paul, being anti-establishment and all that.
@biazacha

I mean he was a runway model, money may not be a problem to him he’s just the type who doesn’t fall for capitalist traps; but buying a secondhand guitar that he KNOWS is the real deal is something I see him doing, rather than stealing.

tbh i'm thinking about doing something like that, buy a second hand one and remake it to look atleast similar to hobie's just for the sake of it however i don't play guitar i play bass so ig it's a learning experience too

i was waiting for this video A LOT, i wanted to cosplay hobie so much since he came out, but i was kinda scared about the guitar, but yours is insanely similar to it, so i have some hope again. Anyway, about the video, you've been pretty clear about how to make it and the explanations, just maybe next time it would be helpful a material list. Also an idea for a video (for those like me who are new to cosplays🦍), you could talk about the materials u generally use, especially on where to get em, and what kind to get; cause like in my case i'm kind of afraid on what foam to get, and where to buy this stuff. Anyway thanks a lot for this tutorial, it will be helpful to a lot of people

That has got to be one of the coolest things I've ever seen! I was kinda wondering how it was gonna turn out since the red seemed a bit sharp, but it was absolutely perfect! And the marker sketching brought it all together so well its incredible !!
First off marvelous work! You really nailed this one. Second, this was a great watch seeing the process from start to finish. I think my favorite part was watching how you assembled the neck of the guitar. But it was dope seeing how you cut, shaped and put together each part even with all the little details.
as a guitarist this is so amusing-- really great job with an aesthetically on point recreation!!! as others have stated- it'd be rad to see a playable version!!! maybe a sequel is in the works-- could take a secondhand les paul and repaint it, maybe mess with the knob shapes as well. it'd be sick!
thank you for showing the process, loved how it all came together
the finished product looks so good!!! I love Hobie and across the spiderverse so this was so cool to watch :)
The cool bit of this is a lot of what you did mimics actual guitar building. The ending bit where you mention adding a dowel rod is actually why guitars have whats called a truss rod. The tension of the strings will pull the neck forward and seriously bend it. Sometimes the wood has a natural backbend and that rod lets you tighten or loosen it enough to play.
very nice build! as a guitar nerd myself, i have to say, you made a very cool les paul type guitar!
thank you for making a full tutorial. you're an angel, love you 😞🙏
Oh my god thank you so much for all your hard work on this!!! I'm definitely going to take inspiration from this video to make my own, which I coincidentally just started, also with pink XPS foam lol. Great video too!!

Can you please tell me what kind of foam is this?
I don’t even cosplay, especially because money and time BUT THIS LOOKS SO COOL AND FUN OMG!! I almost wanna make this purely to just have it, genuinely admire the work you put into this!
i just saw this on instagram and its immediately in my recommended on youtube. this was a canon event
This is awesome on how you put all of it together, Akemi! 😄 Also Spider-Punk is indeed best Spider-Man!
This video was soo satisfying to watch!! Didn't feel like it was too slow or too fast, just the right amount of pacing to not only follow along with but also just admire the work being done here. Looking forward to seeing more videos :D
You're remarkably talented. The cosplay guitar looks awesome ^-^ As far as youtube stuffs go, you're nailing it. Good pacing, nice editing, I never noticed anything off.
For anyone that wants to do this but have it be a functional guitar then Harley Benton sells DIY kits where they provide everything needed with a colorless wood body that can be customized. They have a shape that is fairly close to Spider Punk's guitar.
Just watching this video I would’ve NEVER guessed you were a newer channel!
This right here, this is art. Truly beautiful and wonderfully made, sorry if that sounds dramatic I just really love this!
This looks fucking amazing. You did an amazing job, well done 🤟🏼
thank you for getting me interested in spiderpunk now hes my favorite spider!great job on the guitar!
Thats literally the coolest thing ive ever seen omg
man I need a list of what I need. I'm totally new to crafting, but I want this as a room decor piece!
this is literally, the sickest thing I've seen in a while I'm really glad I found your channel also I just wanted to say congrats on finishing it! I can't tell you how many projects I've started and just left them sitting there :/
This vid earned you a new subscriber. Was in my feed and did not disappoint. Great work.
I am loving your art queen. You are the best 👌🏻👏
The final result looks absolutely amazing!!!
I thank you for your amazing work! The want to do this now is at level ‘must’. 🖤
This is my favorite prop you've ever made. It's so frigging cool!!!!! Also I can't get over how awesome your logo is
Omg it looks so beautiful I’m so jealous of the talent 😭
Like others have said the guitar resembles a Gibson Les Paul, But they also have another company call Epiphone which makes cheaper ones compared to Gibson's. The trade off is cheaper parts but that does not make too much difference and they look the exact same for way cheaper. Also if anyone was wondering the top of a guitar is called a headstock.
That turned out amazing! Awesome job! Would love to see it with a cosplay 👀
It turned out so cool!
this is absolutely INCREDIBLE
I absolutely LOVING IT! 🖤🖤🖤
I'm gonna be learning guitar and always wanted to cosplay him. Love seeing awesome videos like this!
Hobie would absolutely love this. Good work!
It turned out so well
This looks like you ripped it straight out of the cartoon world! Amazing work!!
Crazy good content for such a small channel. Great job!
Awesome tutorial! Love this prop
This is the world's coolest thing, I've got to try this. Great video :)
Your work is immaculate. Spider Punk salute you!!!
I've been searching for hobie brown's guitar and this is what I needed. I"m planning on making my own guitar that resembles his guitar. I'll be making it using my old guitar which has the same shape as hobie's guitar.
wow that looks incredible
How did people enjoy movies before the internet… things like this bring me such joy
was waiting for this, ty!
THIS TURNED OUT AMAZING!!!!!!!!
this was the coolest cosplay project I've ever seen
this video is actually really similar to videos i’ve seen of people making real guitars, as far as process goes! that’s really cool
I really love how strings look loose and wonky, it makes it look like a drawing
this is crazyy, very well done
as a guitarist I absolutely love how you refer so some of the guitar parts XD
I loooove!!! This is so cool!!
It's really interesting to me how in the process of making this, you've reinvented a couple of actual guitar-building techniques. When you mentioned putting a dowel rod through the neck for support I like actually kind of freaked out a little.
man, im not into cosplay but this is just in another level, such a cool cosplay guitar.
oh my god this is SO COOL! hobie would definitely approve
Thanks for doing this!!
MY JAW HAS NEVER DROPPED THIS MUCH BEFORE
this was fantastic! my only suggestion is adding like a materials list maybe?

Great video. Looks amazing.
very informative and slow paced, thank you!
Omg this turned out so good!! I was trying so hard not to get annoyed when u kept calling every part of the guitar "thingy" 😂 But this is insanely accurate! Great job
This is so amazing
this is soooo cool LOVED IT
That headstock would last longer than a Gisbon's 😂
This is amazing
Thrilled to put this one together!
dude im OBSESSED.
damnnn finally someone made the guitar holy this is sick
Oh im OBSESSED!
While this is absolutely rad, what I really want to see now is someone with a real Gibson Les Paul (The IRL counter-part Hobie's guitar is based off) cover their guitar with all the stickers and decals of Hobie's Les Paul.
I love you 😭 thats amazing ty so much I can't wait to try.
Great work !
Omg i'm so glad i have an idea for the measurements now😭

Omg we have matching tees... like the exact thing ❤
this is so dope
first of all Kemee🤟 Puck rock personally Applause you💜💜. I think my favorite part was your redraw of this sticker, the grim skinny guy. I really like seeing how much extra effort you put into making sure it was correct as possible. Sound quality much better in this video👌. Also bless🙏 the beginning with your little drink noise🤣🤣. Thie time I listening with my earbuds but, before I realize how loud it was the noise went right into my ears🤣🤣🤣 startled the s*** out of me. My particular part I don't remember you doing it in the first video but what you would have did differently actually really enjoyed your own commentary on yourself. The shots were much better too and I love that you have your little jokes in between your shots leaving attention while still giving leeway to what you are doing💜💜. You're making strides in your video making Kemee👍.
