I am so glad I found your video. I am planning out a Pyramid Head cosplay myself and was going crazy trying to work out how to do the sword and helmet. But this is a big help and I can not wait to get to work on it. I'm hoping to get him ready for dragoncon this year. So fingers crossed I will be able too.

@@laurendoescosplay Do you have a sizing for the big cut in the middle of the front part of the mask. the areas that you put the mesh. I'm going to be working on my helmet soon and was making sure I had all the numbers written down.
Very beautiful
One of the things I did for the outfit is I tea dyed it and it will make a worn out look. After that I basically just spray bottled it with water and blotched brown paint to give it that dirty look, then I added blood. Hope this helped amazing tutorial btw! :)

What is tea dye very curious
@DementedDistraction
Жыл бұрын
@@chloethesuccubus9728 You're basically dyeing cloth in tea to give it a yellowish/brownish aged look - it works best on white cloth. Boil some black tea bags in a big pot until the water turns murky, add a couple teaspoons of salt to it (to help the tea pigments attach to the cloth fibers), and then submerge whatever you're dyeing into the tea - make sure the fabric you're dyeing is rinsed under water and rung out before adding it to the tea. Leave it like that anywhere from a few hours to overnight depending on how dark you want your dye job, let it dry, and then you're good to go.
NO FUCKING WAY AN ACTUALLY EASY TO FOLLOW AND NOT THAT EXPENSIVE COSPLAY TUTORIAL????? GREAT VIDEO!!!
Thank you so much for this. This is my first cosplay and you have been the biggest help. The sword came out killer

Can you link the diagram you ended up using for the head part? I'm struggling with that.

Can you make a list of all the paints you used for the helmet please. You made it look so easy !! Freaking amazing
@laurendoescosplay

they weren't anything crazy! just generic black and grey and brown acrylic paints :)
Sorry where you got the mold for the head pyramid, you look amazing everything.
i just realized that pyramid head is almost 2 decades old. its a good way to check if someone is legal. ehem i mean very knowledgeable about pop culture stuff. love your vids btw.
Your voice so sweet ❤
What size sheets foam did you use
Yeah...I dunno what's up with stage blood, but in my experience it just doesn't work so well when applied to props; the blood I applied to my Pyramid Head blade didn't turn white, it just vanished when it dried. Not sure what was going on there, but I gave my blade a bloodbath and you could never tell by looking at it, so I too had to mix up some acrylic blood.
Question! every time I make the back small triangles they come out straight and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, I want to make my back like yours, with the large point in back but I cant get it! lol.😊
You said you had to play around to get the sizing the way you liked for the helmet. Is the measurements u listed in videos after you found what worked for you. My gf really wants to be pyramid head for Halloween so I have 6 months to figure out how to make it ha. I'm not crafty but anything to please my queen
Question! How the heck did you make the back part so pointy? every time I make the back small triangles they come out straight and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong lol.

She's beautiful
Do you have the template? Or where did you get it.
Question for the sword. Do you think before painting the base black would a layer of Plasti dip be a good idea? I'm hoping to try and work on my sword once I finish my helmet and apron and trying to work out everything.
@laurendoescosplay
Жыл бұрын
I only worry about plasti dip on the sword because I was dragging mine around and the plasti dip would definitely have peeled off. it couldn't hurt to try but it's something to keep in mind!
Id like the list of supplies
i really want to make this but gosh that looks so hard to make
How thick is the foam is??
Do you have the measurements that you decided to use on your helmet? I'm confused on how to match it to the right size 😭💓

James be Like: So this is the manifistation of my punishment!? I wanna stay in the otherworld forever!
How do you do the outfit
I happen to be using the same foam for the sword, but how on earth did you make the edge stay strong while dragging against the ground? I don't want to snap off the tip but omg its so fragile

The wood glue really helps to harden it up! I still lost a small chip off the tip of the sword just because there was so much stress on that point, but I'll probably just repaint over that if I bring it out again.
Do you let the glue dry first ?

Really need help with the dimension, sizing of the helmet
You're really really soo beautiful 😍❤️ amd I'm not simp I'm saying this genuinely.
You don't have a Templates of helmet? 😵💫❤️
Your blood splatter probably turned white due to a chemical reaction between the blood's and ruse's ingredients. The cosplay turned out amazingly!

When you cut mesh you want to cut it with a really fucking sharp razor blade or just buy plastic mesh
