Awesome. So glad I searched for diy lava.
I was hoping to see what it looked like after it had cooled down. Interesting project though!

Thanks man! I appreciate it
This is a great geology lesson here, we live in the Mojave Desert near a fault line and extinct volcano, we have all the rock you ordered for FREE, I know but just had to share with you what living in a natural environment does for creators designers. Thank you for the share, Lance & Patrick.

Omg is a real lava
Haha lava
Heat it up again and forge a hammer out of it
I'm curious if you've made any more lava? If you have would you sell some of it? I'm a geologist and I would like some of this material. Thank you.
man turns into glowing taffy not knowing it's basically glass now
Hi Paul, I love your videos! I myself just began to forge, can I ask you how much psi you’re running your forge at? How much gas per hour does it burn? Thank you!🔥

he has a video on that when he made it, and explains it all.

Derek From Malden I know, he said he runs the forge at 20-30 psi. But since this video is almost one year old, I was wondering, if he changed something.

Spira Knives I run it at around 3-6 psi
Hey Paul that was awesome. I wonder if you can remelt lava? Around where we live there’s lava all around us. If you want some I can send you some pieces.

Im sure I would be able to and thank you that would be cool
Maybe try a flux and I think the more rock you can get in the crucible the more heat it will hold for a longer time to get it to flow as you know with metal the smaller the piece the quicker it cools down more mass more heat saturation I would try borax and sand as fluxes just a stab in the dark idea i can’t wait to see what you make it in to

How you do that is ??????????????????????? Of this!
you need about 1300 to 1500 deg.C to get magma I don't think your forge gets that hot.. be well and be safe....
