    We used to work at a historical park and we were in the fort area of the park as interpreters. We loved it. We used to wear short gowns alot because of the versatility that they had and we were interpreting working class women, maids to the hospital and the officers quarters. It allowed so much movement and wasnt as stuffy or heavy as the dresses.

    Nice set! The simplicity is so elegant yet so useful. Im working on an outlander ensemble, altho not sure, here in Australia, im ever going to get to need to wear a woolen skirt of 5 yards! But thankfully thats not the point!
