I made another medieval fruit costume! This time it is a banana, inspired by 15th century / 1400s clothing style. I created this costume for my boyfriend, for us both to attend a medieval fruits group meetup!

Your partner looks to be having so much fun with his new banana inspired houplande.
I love how creative you are within the boundaries of the historical clothing. I can see someone in that time period having fun like this. Though I am not sure when banana came on to the scene.

I love the creative. Makes me wanna do a fruit or vegetable renaissance grab now. My one thing I wish was added on the banana was a badage or coats of arms of some sort with a medieval style design banana sticker you see in the grocery store. 😂

When I was in high school, a group of students dressed up as the Fruit of the Loom Fruit. The costumes were all very creative. There was only one problem - the girl who dressed as the grapes used a purple leotard, tights, and balloons. Then realized that she'd have to stand all day due to the balloons. It was a great costume, though!
I think a funny ren fair fruit suit would be something like trunk hose with a green outside and red line so it looks like a watermelon
