How To Make a Beautiful Circle Cloak With a Hood and Arm Openings (me + American Girl doll)

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I love cloaks! This one is a full circle, and it's a rather simple project to complete. This cloak has a hood and arm openings at the sides, and I've created one for myself, as well as for my American Girl dolls. I hope you find this project inspirational, and I'd love to see what you do with it!

gorgeous. the shimmer and drape of the rose quartz crushed velvet panne are just gorgeous. sometimes, you really need the simplest of shapes to show off how wonderful your fabric is!

I’ve actually got a polar fleece cloak on my project list. After watching your video though I’ve realized I’m a little shy of having enough yardage😢. Design choices will be made to compensate 😉

That sounds so cozy and warm! You can make a cloak with less yardage too. You can do a half circle, which will only take about half of this, if you don't want it so full. And then you can also do more tapered and fitted shapes (sort of a piece of the half circle). I have a hobbit inspired look I did that way, which I need to finish editing and upload!

❤️❤️❤️ooh! Can’t wait to see the hobbit inspired video. Thanks for the ideas for my cloak ❤️. I think I’ll have enough to do a 3/4 circle at ankle length. I was considering buying some black fleece to make a border at the hemline and down the front edge anyway … I may just add a bit more of the black and do some color blocking to get the full circle. I will play with it some and make a decision when it comes to the top of the list.
