I Made a Geonosis Battle Diorama

This week, I was looking for Kenobi related things at my local hobby store, but count't find exactly what I was looking for. While there, I did find some Star Wars Legion minis and was inspired to recreate a tiny slice of the battle of Geonosis instead.

I really love that you're doing more stuff with the led filaments, great stuff, thanks for all the great project ideas
Like the care with which you made the base. Nice planning. Recess the switch so you can store them closer to the wall.
Awesome mate. 👌. I really like these tiny start wars themes you are making

I had a really close relative pass away last Tuesday, and lost track of time. Couldn't really remember what day it was throughout the week, it felt like 10pm for at least 4 days. Constantly tired. I'm glad you posted your video, it made me realize it was Sunday and time is still moving and made me happy.

Sorry for your loss dude, I lost my great grandpa last November my fam is still recovering.
6:00 crazy how it was hard to picture the terrain but simply putting primer already makes it look so natural
Your friend likes Commander Fox?! I’d like to meet this novelty of humanity. (But in all seriousness you did an amazing job painting his pattern on that little figure, looks very much like Fox)

@@Boylei where do you get the battery box that you use? I’ve been trying to find one for a build I’m doing.
Love it. The droids and clones look great! The lights bring it all together to tell the story! Thanks for sharing. Happy days and model on! 😎🇨🇦
I just... Love your work, it's amazing. I WANT ALL YOUR STAR WARS CREATIONS !!!
I absolutely love your videos!!! They are SOOOO soothing and relaxing that I use them to wind down at the end of the day. The dioramas are absolutely gorgeous and I wait anxiously for a new one every week!! Thank you sooo much for your content and keep up the good work!
I loved the longer explanation about how you wired everything together and your thought process for placing them! Great video as always!
Mate, what a treat. The acrylic cut part was freaking hilarious!!
Your vision and articulation are superb. Thank you for talent you bring to the world!
This is defiantly one of my favorite dioramas that you've made, I'd love to see more star wars dioramas.
Awesome! Was half expecting a bolt to be going through a droid…but considering how little they are I reckon that would be rather difficult 😝
This is amazing! Your videos inspired me to start making my own Star Wars dioramas, so a video with audio step by step instructions was super helpful for a beginner like me. Hearing your thought process really helps me out. Thank you, please keep it up!!!
Excellent! Love the Star Wars & future Wild West dystopia variety of dioramas !! I also clearly remember seeing the Battle Droids & thinking they were the coolest. Especially the different color schemes they used for infantry/security/commander/pilots.. nice little added touch.
An incredible looking diorama. Loved the LED filaments for the blaster bolts and seen them on some other builds being used for Lightsaber blades and Phaser blasts. Very nicely done.
I’ve had both of these for years now you gave me a perfect use for them.
I’m liking these star wars themed dioramas. Keep it up!
Phenomenal work as always, always a pleasure to watch your dioramas come to life.
Wow hands down my favorite build - it would almost fit as a crossover in your western town like an off world conquest! Great job as always BHT thanks for sharing!
Oh man, I really love your Star Wars builds, it makes me want to try this, one thing I think would of been cool is if you had one of the laser bolts hitting one of the figures, none the less, awesome build
You should try something with either the X-Wing or Armada miniatures, perhaps a planetary invasion? Love the content

@@TBone-bz9mp a vertical diorama would look pretty cool. Also with a fighter in mid explosion with some led lit cotton wool.
Been watching your vids for a while now and because of you and the amazing crafting community, I'm actually making my first ever Diorama, so I gotta say thank you for shining a light on this new hobby I have, that I had no idea I had a passion for. Keep up the great work!!
God bless you and keep you, Caleb.
Love this one! Have you come across any heavy duty bits for the pin vise? I’m really good at snapping these in half. Thanks so much, your work is always inspiring.
Remember Umbara! *Ahem* Lovely build Boylei! Legion has some great models, I'd love to see more Dioramas in the future. Maybe you could make an Utapau diaorama that's part of one of the big sinkholes?
Absolutely incredible, love the effect of the leds, very clever! Great job as always
This is my favorite battle from the star wars series! Such An amazing job! So much talent here!
what are you going to do with the cards and tokens from the boxes?
Awesome as always my friend. But I do have a question, when you primer painted the base, wouldn't it have been a better idea to scuff up the acrylic top with some steel wool or something like that to hold the paint especially since your were going to cover it with the other stuff? Just curious because I myself would have been a little worried it would have scrapped off to easy while I was doing some of the other work on it. I was just wondering if that would have been a good idea or not?
Always look forward to each and every build of yours! Definitely my number 1 hobby inspiration.
This is absolutely brilliant, and quite beautiful. Great job.
I wonder how long it will take Bill to notice all the rust references, lol. Great one Caleb!

I can definitely see it up there :)
This was the first video I watched of a diorama being made, I went down the rabbit hole and last night I completed my first diorama. Thank you for introducing me to the hobby.
These are incredible, honestly the beams bring life to these dioramas
Hey, maybe to sell your idea of 'slices' of a larger battle, you should have the characters shoot at things off-stage, and have projectiles coming in from elsewhere in order for it to seem to less isolated
they keep on getting better and better
That's an awesome build! You did a great job with making the base look like Geonosis.
good sir, I hope you know that you following your passions is absolutely heartwarming. You not only make art, but inspire others to follow their own dreams. Bless your amazing soul!
As a big Star Wars fan, I definitely approve of this model. Looks amazing!
You gave me a bit of a scare this morning. I checked about 45 minutes ago, and didn't see my Sunday Boylei Hobby Time tutorial as expected. Dejected, I then had some breakfast, and came back to the keyboard, and Lo and Behold, you didn't disappoint me! This is an excellent way to display "Star Wars" figures, and I hope you will consider additional variations on this theme; like Han Solo vs a Legion of Stormtroopers in the Death Star corridor. Thanks for posting this! As a sidebar, what scale are these "Star Wars" gaming miniatures? If they are close to 1/48 or 1/35, it would be interesting to build a diorama depicting the Empire attacking Earth . . . .
This is genuinely really beautiful and very relaxing to watch good job dude!
Honestly I just love your lighting stuff. So crazy cool

awesome build, the small builds for some reason just look super satisfying
Just found your channel and was watching some of the wild western series builds and just now realized you do Star Wars stuff too, so awesome! Really entertaining watching you do all this stuff, thanks for sharing your process and doing what you do, your art rocks and I’m thrilled to see more!
"George Banks is saying NO" that was a brilliant little drop-in there
Thanks for sharing with us man! Loved it 🔥
The production quality of these videos is stunning, each video is definitely worth waiting for
I really like how the lights give a certain hue of each half of the diorama giving it a sort of "good vs evil" kind of vibe
Amazing as usual!! Great work once again!!
Very therapeutic. thank you for this!
Lovely, dear. Your sense of color and light improves with each project!
best OSL painting tutorial i've ever seen :^) this is a sick diorama, great work!
That look so cool and thank you for the link for the LED filaments I have been looking for some good ones.
I have that early 2000s Lego B1 Battle Droid. The Antennae are indeed awesome, but I also love the gear winding to pull out the blaster.

I don't do any sort of diorama building whatsoever but from just watching a good number of your videos, I'm happy to say I've picked up a hefty amount of terminology & knowledge that I never knew before, you also got me incredibly interested in this these but I feel like I'd have to definitely start on a smaller scale as I don't have room for a work bench and all that currently
Looks absolutely incredible!
Really great stuff! I love those filaments!!
So glad there’s more love for Fox out there!!
Another incredible build!
Love all you videos. I have never tried any diorama. But you have inspired me to start. Thanks. Love the Star Wars videos.

Dude your work is actually incredible, It looks so dang awesome. Keep up the good work!!
I love how the diorama looks like a skiing area right after you put the terrain paste on. Even with the little flags…
I love this. Glad to see a Star Wars scene. I hope you will be doing a scene for each episode of Kenobi. Keep up the great work
Please do more of these!!!!! It looks so good!!!!!!!!

This is my Sunday morning tradition and its the most peaceful part of my week. Love your channel, man.
Another little story told in wood, plastic, plaster and paint, along with a commentary interspersed with a sense of humour as dry as the Geonosian desert itself. Nicely done. 👏👏👏
It turned out amazing! I would also love to see a moon diorama or something with craters in a future episode!
Perfect as always. So inspiring
What you do is awesome and amazing at the same time
Amazing job. Congrats !
I love this and not because ima star wars fan but because of the tranquility this gives. Amazxing!
