Because of your content I just finished my first terrarium in a jar. I used moss, stones and wood from my neighbourhood, some pre-made terrarium substrate and I put in 2 different Fittonias. I’m (hopefully) collecting some springtails in my garden , as we speak, to finish it off and I hope it’ll all thrive. It looks nice, maybe a new hobby has presented itself and they’re the perfect gifts if you need to get rid of some.
you should make an aquarium one day that would be so cool
Terrarium making is fun .

Even I am going to make a terrarium.
This is one of your better scapes imho. Love it because it looks very natural and, well, to me it seems to have a good flow.
I am starting to make my terrarium soon I’ll update once I am done ➰🔜
LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!!!! More than MD fish tanks, too. Super inspired by your creations.
Really like your videos! I finally got around to starting my own terrariums, and while they're not as pretty as yours, I'm very glad to be starting in the hobby
Love the video and the end product. I’m not a huge fan of the spider wood pieces though, I wonder if you could put them down before planting and partially cover them a bit, make it look more natural. Either way, keep on building!
@TerrariumDesigns

Having them partially covered is a good idea, might have to do that😃
I love itttttttt thank you so much for making these terrarium I'll make one too ❤
Looks amazing. Typically I like the spider wood addition at the end to give extra detail, but this time I liked the simplicity of the cork bark, rocks, and plants without it better.
It looks really good 🎉
amazing as always
You just created Endor, I was waiting for a Ewok to pop out and wave

I have an issue with mold when I use spiderwood in my setup. It still appears repeatedly after I clean them. Do you have any advice?
@matiasjuanlopez

I have better results if I put the spider wood in the oven for a while or boiling to change its shape

Is it that white slimy stuff? If so, i should disappear after a week or so
@virusgem6281
Ай бұрын
@@kysonng1649yeah. Mostly spread from spiderwood or driftwood. It won’t disappear on its own no matter how long I leave it alone. Sometimes they also appear as white little dots in the substrate

Isopods.
Sweet little palu😋
Love your videos! Do you know what kind of fittonia you used? I love its round leaves with the pink streaks. It reminds me of the skeleton fittonia but less yellow.
Amazing terrarium!!! How can I find these type of tanks with such a subtle front lid?
Really love this video, will share with some friends. I really want to do a no tech (Except light) aquarium however I've heard that surface agitation is required so the underwater critters get oxygen? I wanted to check if that's not the case as it dosn't seem like you needed any with this?
How do you put smoke effects?
Did you used the usual 2 parts spagnum moss for your mix? Or have you changed the recipe? 😅
I want to buy it 😂 I do live in the UK 😁 the ones you have for sale are tiny 😢
If I may, what type of soil is that?
Can you make a video on how much money all of your stuff cost for 1 terrarium?
Is sunlight or led light very important for the terrarium bro
I’m surprised you didn’t add any isopods to the micro ecosystem. Even I don’t think they will be needed because of the size.
Very amazing. Does anybody know of a canadian company that sells these plants? They are difficult to find in my province.

I think the best way for you to get these favorite plants is to join terrarium or aquascaping groups in your country, or even other countries, there will be many people who know where in your country they are sold. your favorite plants

You said you planted the java fern on top of the sphagnum moss, but then say to not plant them into moss or substrate. Does this just mean green moss in general? And what else can you plant it in, if you can't plant it into substrate? Is there a differnce when planting loosely on top and roots into?
@TerrariumDesigns
Ай бұрын
By placing it on top will root down into the moss. With aquatic ferns don’t typically like their rhizome(the part where the leaves grow from) to be covered as they can easy rot
Id LOVE to build a terrarium with fitonias and peperomia plants BUT i have no idea where to even begin to look for these plants to build with...=/
i'm having problems with fungus tho :(
