I expected numbers to flash after each minute to tell the time like a clock, and then reset the sands without the need to flip, that would be perfect! Especially since the 8 shape fits it so perfectly! Are you going to review the programming and make a V.2?

Your amazon link the the Arduino is Different than the Ali express one. It's a Nano Every VS a Nano 3. I purchased the every from your link and it just shows one board lit up save for a few pixels not like it thinks it's turned on it's side and doesn't move. After re soldering every connection and trying new components and a breadboard the every does not seem to work with this project....

@@engineericly the thingiverse page could have been yours. I think saying "I found this project by NAME_OF_THE_AUTHOR" is the least you could do to thank the author

I admit to have absolutely NO experience with these materials, so I don't know how easy it would be to CUT them in a clean fashion... still, the idea to reprint a part because of a missing hole seems... strange!

The project looks awesome…I just wish the code didn’t SUCK more than a HOOVER vacuum cleaner! Has more error messages than a mistake! And none of you KZreadrs answer that one question!

It looks kinda weird for the sand on the bottom to pile up into a square. The 45 degree angle of repose seems too steep. The same is true on top, but inverted; the sand is piling up on the sides a bit too much. I assume your code works by looking at each particle and determining where it needs to go based on what's near it. If so, you can fix the angle of repose thing by giving each particle a very small chance to attempt to move down and *extra* left, or down and *extra* right.
