Yep, I didn't know about it until a few years ago either until I noticed a drop off in fuel economy around Novenmber. It was the older gentleman who owns the local gas station who told me about it. I thought he was fooling with me until i got home and researched it. I'm glad I passed on something to you and thank you for watching!

My best MPG was cruising in the Adirondacks and Skyline Drive. Averaged 48 to 51 MPG. My least is on my daily interstate commute to work on the I 81 Deathrace . I average 38 to 41MPG

Oof, a 10mpg drop off is rough! My worst so far is 42, but I think it was all backroads and on a group ride. Thanks for the data point to add to the list of what everyone is generally getting on their Pan Ams and thank you watching!

42 mpg is my average on my ‘23 PAS. I don’t drive it like crazy but I like a few spirited accelerations. Usually cruise at 4000 rpm

That's certainly lower than my usual, but I did hit 42 mpg one day after quite a bit of throttling out. I'm usually running about 4K rpm also, so it could be a difference of tolerances from one Pan Am to the next. Thank you for watching, and for the comment, it's nice for the community to see the kind of fuel economy ranges the Pan Am gets.

It's RON I think, but if it doesn't say non-ethanol it can have up to 10% ethanol. Most gasoline here in the U.S. could technically be E10 (10% ethanol blend). At least that's what it reads on the pump stickers where I live. Some places around here sell non-E but only 90 octane (below 91 isn'tt recommended for my Pan Am). I wonder if there's much difference between the 21s, 22s, and 23s like cam grinds or how the fuel tables are written? Have you had a recent update? I'm starting to think that's when my fuel economy took a downturn if it's not the winter gas. It's good info for the community either way, thank you for watching!

@Chase_N yes I did the latest TFT screen update myself soon after getting it , now the shock is green and the heated grip icon only comes on screen when actually turned on and few other improvements supposedly 🤔

@Chase_N hey just thought of something, I also put the vance and hines hi-output 450 slipon on and a screaming eagle High flow air filter and was told by H-D that as long as I don't remove the CAT no tune is required , but it could be the culprit for a slight fuel economy loss 🤔😕

Im getting 51-53 Mpg unless I get on it allot. 2023 PAS
