    I hear Dan Dookie and The Droopers toured together once...wish I had been there to see that magical concert. I heard even BB Gooner showed to play slide on this tune live in Nassau.

    With son replacing father in the band, the group eventually became known as the Stray Cats. It is not very well know that Brian Setzer’s real name is Dan Dookie Jr. Lee Rocker’s pops was Pooper Drooper.

    I was at their concert in Amsterdam but it was a painful memory, as some greasers threw me in the canal after the concert and I fell on a rusty pre WW2 shopping cart.
