I'm NOT Renewing my Malaysian Mensa Membership (For now)
Ойын-сауық
Congratulations, you are a wholesome success story! A high IQ poster child, a genius, a bona fide Einstein! Watch my video if you want to learn how to be ~gifted~ like me, join the Illuminatis, Triple Nines, and become the Elon Musk of the 22nd century.
...NOT.
As a wee teenager, I was insecure enough to join Malaysian Mensa, thinking that my membership made me one of those geniuses. It was kind of interesting and I met some unique characters here and there, but... Welp.
Anyway, no hate for Mensa - personally though, I do think it takes a bit of a crazy person to feel the need to join a high IQ society and validate your intelligence @_@
More about this depending on the feedback I get for this video I guess!

It has always amazed me, that people who walk around with their noses in the air and regard themselves as highly intelligent beings, tend to be among the most stupid and confused people you meet, and their behaviour becomes even more irrational when they never admit they are wrong ('cause that should contradict their picture of themselves). But other equally stupid people look up to them, because they _behave_ as if they know what they talk about. The world is a dark place.

TRUST THE EXPERTS I AM THE SCIENCE
Haha. I have autism and ADHD and I did the MENSA admission test because I needed that objective validation that I’m not an idiot because I was somehow intelligent but a mess in every other way. But ya. Got in for the bragging rights but I have no intention of being a part of the community honestly 😂. Also disclaimer.. no hate for MENSA.. I guess it’s a magnet for insecure people like us.

I have increible music ears. I'm a certified idiot in school. Dyslexia, and ADHD having person. I don't care for people opinions. Mensa is just for people who need validation for their intelligence because you're insecure as Hell.
I love the videos man :), as long as you're happy with you're decisions in life, that's the most important thing. By the way, I would love to see a review with that new Secretlab Pokémon chair.

Hey thank you, @aristidis! I really appreciate it - thank you for watching! This is really different from my usual content, but it does reflect the kind of content that I want to make more of in the future as I learn how to speak more from the heart and to share more of my life, though I’ll definitely continue to make more chair reviews and unboxings in days ahead and hope to integrate more of this in days to come! Though we’ve never met, you (and various other people) have made my day. Thank you so, so much, from the bottom of my heart, and I can’t wait to show you and the rest of the world the Pikachu chair and a lot of the things that’ve been going on recently :) Cheers and have an incredible one ahead! Make sure to hit subscribe with the bell on to get notified! With best wishes, V.

@@VictorTan No problem, best of luck for future projects ahead.
Nobody ever said that Mensa membership would supply the motivation or discipline to succeed. The Kiwanis Club doesn’t do that. Neither does your local Elk’s Lodge or Toastmasters. Mensa is just a social organization, and there is nothing wrong with it. People who don’t like the exclusivity implied by the admission criterion can piss off.

Nice video! And nice voice, too hehe

IQ does measure intelligence but it doesn't measure success or value as a person

Very impressive indeed. What I would bet is it was on an SD of 24 like the older ones. He likely has something above the 3rd SD, but if this was on the more recent raven test which is SD of 15 or 16 then… wow. Very impressive indeed. Anywho yeah great to see people who understand IQ isn’t everything. I don’t think it is either I think things like personality and education are also very important, but I also think IQ is important. In short it’s about balance IQ is definitely not nothing, but it’s not everything. This is just from my experiences and from my research though! Many people get many different answers to the same question! Thanks for the video though!

So sorry for the super late reply. Yes, it was probably crazy to think that something like that was so important at an earlier point, but it was something that led to later and greater joy along the way, as you might see from my most recent videos. Thank you for watching this one, and have a great one ahead!
High IQ doesn't equal success, obviously. But low IQ is a good predictor of no success. That's why successfull people almost always have mediocre or slightly elevated IQ (and sometimes high IQ).
My IQ is 116.
I love ya high IQ humor, blah blah blah

I am taking the test tomorrow.. just for self validation, will be happy if I can get in, I am assuming I am at 140-150ish. You need higher EQ to succeed (financially) in life, I was told, on good authority, that I am top 1% taxpayer in Malaysia. I would definitely hire someone with a higher IQ to do work that they enjoy that is profitable for both of us, that would simply be good business practise..your score btw is off the charts. That being said, you can only harness what you have if you enjoy what you do.

Oh good luck and hope that you get the score that you want! Thank you for the kind words, and if you do get in, I hope we get the chance to meet one day! I actually renewed my membership a while ago and have since gone on trips to both Korea and Indonesia with Mensa - more on this a little later 🤭 All the very best to you!

@@ellevenvegas I took the supervised Mensa IQ tests in July, 2016. I would have scored considerably more but things went wrong because I was very tired. I scored 127 ( SD 24 ) Top 13% and 117 ( SD 16 ) Top 14%.

@@VictorTan just got my email today from mensa malaysia.. it began with congratulations.. got in Yeay. probably get my score in email after reg..
Mensa is a very prejudiceful association. I got rejected only because I have 88 IQ instead of what their consider to be """"smart"""". Even for the bell curve of my country, the average is 87 so I am definitely above average.

The average is 100. 88 is well below average but that's the type of mistake I would expect from someone who uses the "word" prejudiceful
