I’m Moving!- back to the basics: lure making using only simple hand tools
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Join me for a tour of the original lure building shop before I pack it all up and move. With most of my tools stored away, I still want to make a lure. So, in this video I come up with a plan to make due with what I have. If you are new to lure making and don’t have a lot of equipment, follow me as I get started on a new lure build using only hand tools and no electricity. This is wooden lure making at its simplest!

Thanks!
I really enjoy the caving part of lure making, using wood that would otherwise be discarded like a tree branch, no template just imagination.

Hi Sir, I like it so far, looking good. I like that sketch book, need to find one like that for sure. Something I found that you might like to try for you knife is a Stanley 10-049 folding blade box cutter that locks. It feels good in your hand and it is so light that I carry mine everyday. Never know when you might run across a piece of wood, that has something in it that needs to come out. Love your drawing skills, I’m still working on mine. Sometimes simple is overlooked, but is the most rewarding. Thanks for sharing your awesome work.

Thank you! The sketchbook is a Leuchtturm1917, dotted soft cover. My favorite knife is an antique stanley fixed blade. But I had to borrow a newer one because it's packed in a box somewhere. Thanks for watching!
