Wow, what an arduous journey. But it's all worth it, bless you. Before coming to China, the media coverage on China l had come across was usually negative. Many people in my country including me mistakenly believed that China was a poor country, where there was only oppression without freedom. But when l came to China, l found China is AMAZING! l dare say China is better than the West in many ways.Modernization, convenience, hospitality, safety, all of these has left a positive impression on me. I did not see a homeless person. China really feels like the future.China has even more people than US. Not to mention, minimal violent crime, strict drug laws and a law biding society. We all have a lot to learn from China!I am also working hard to learn Chinese, salute to you.

Not true. China has dramatically changed in past 15 years. When I went there in 2000's it was great place where you can do almost anything except criticize government. Now, it's totally locked down. Internet is totally locked down, most foreigners already left China with threat of exit ban and arbitrary detention. Chinese people are not so friendly any more, possibly because CCP is watching everywhere.

@@coldspring22 Well, instead of saying someone not being friendly, how about look at who is not being friendly to them. Travellers always need to watch for their own safety on political tensions. It has nothing to do with the place and people in it. A country needs to watch for their own security safety. Is too naive to think your own country is not tracking on you. China do it openly while other do it discreetly. Every country does it. Your attempt of smearing is not working. If you are afraid people watching you, stop using internet, cell phone etc.

Hello, 🦋🦋May I share an Old Testament Verse with you from Daniel 7:14 "And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a Kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should SERVE Him; his dominion is an Everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom shall not pass away, and His Kingdom that which shall not be destroyed." Also, can I share Isaiah 53:5 " But HE was WOUNDED For our TRANSGRESSIONS, he was BRUISED for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His STRIPES we are HEALED." God the Father loves you so much that He sent Holy Sinless Jesus (His Holy Son) to earth to be born of a virgin. Then, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins. He was in the tomb for 3 days, then Father God raised Holy and Sinless Jesus Christ (Y'shua) to Life! He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, & immoral persons sorcerers & idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire & brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent. Will you have a Real encounter with Holy Lord Jesus (Y'shua is His Hebrew Name) and stay in a Genuine relationship with Him daily please?

Matt, I was born and raised in China. I left Shenzhen in 1991 to America. 32 years’ making in Texas. In May, I visited China, Shanghai, Hainan, and Nanning for one month. Glad to see so much improvement every city we visited. Half of the cars in street are electric cars. Very clean. Very safe society society. The con includes the fact, all the western apps are cut off from me. My bad, I forget to buy VPN. I can not check my emails. I can not watch U tube neither. I understand why China government block all the western apps. But still my life is cut off totally except phone calls. Second con is the thirsty for money from too many folks we met. Too many want to fool you. Social life of many are based on the money. Too much desire for money from too many. Third con, compensation is still much higher in states. Just less competitive in states.

@@xiaoandmatt how stup!d can that be! Saying America IS two continents is exposing to the world the poor education taught in the US. Even grammatically you are incorrectly. Can’t believe Chinese trusted someone this ignorant to teach their children. If America ARE two continents then anyone could also say West Europe and East Europe are also two continents? How about saying there are four Europes? South, North, West and East and so four Asias and four Africas? How ridiculous you sound and incredible how a UnitedStatian sounds thanks to lack of knowledge but, why would that be a surprising thing if UnitedStatians rely only on their manipulated Wikipedia which can be actually edited at anytime anywhere by even a toddler who’s got basic computer knowledge. Nothing surprising to hear a UnitedStatian make comments as yours when they are the only dumbs on earth without an adjective of nationality because A Colombian is American too and so a Peruvian, Cuban, and all people from over 30 countries that the American continent has. And, although there one single American continent you can call yourself North American like all Canadians , Mexicans, Belizean and all countries in the Caribbean as well as they are part of North American. So, yeah! Your dumbness and confusion is because you actually have no adjective of nationality other than American like any other American has from Alaska to Argentina. But! That shouldn’t be an excuse to justify your stupidity and refer to the United States as America cuz one is a country and the other a whole continent. Now people might wonder, why so much sh00tings in the US? Because their system is f*cked up, the culture screws up everyone getting inside the bubble til they ki|| themselves or ki|| others
