Hamstrings injuries are no joke and hopefully OG didn't pull it too bad becuae I have done it twice and it's not something you can recover from 100% overnight

So proud of this squad.

People might call me crazy but I think the Knicks are a lock for 1st seed next season. When healthy they were the best team in the NBA. 14-2 in January when ALL HEALTHY and we were robbed of greatness. Dominating teams like Minnesota, Denver AND Philly in the process. The best is yet to come man and I can’t wait. Just gotta add more depth which will happen and it’ll be set. Randle is all nba don’t forget along with monster defenders in OG and Mitch. It was working perfectly before the injuries. Not enough is being said for when this team is healthy.

I think the Knicks will be fine as the series goes on. They have McBride and Achiuwa to pick up the slack. So if the Knicks take one in Indy, they would be in the driver's seat either being up 3-0 or 3-1. They have a vice grip on the Pacers. It's still gonna be Knicks and Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.

So true and the narrative is old. OG had the least mileage on him. He played 50 reg games total and avg under 35 min a game.

The Knicks are "Dawgs" with no quit in their vocabulary. That is a breath of fresh air to see, especially when they don't have Randle in the lineup, and they are doing it with "small ball" with OG Annunoby at the "4'. Give these guys their respect and flowers, they are 6 wins away from an NBA Finals berth. They are bad, bad, dudes on the court.

the Knicks actually have a lot of great players on their bench that I hope see some minutes in Game 3 to give the rest of the core squad a rest and also actually utilize all the talented players they currently have trapped in their bench

We can only trust Deuce and Precious right now. Burks was an ok player, but he's a shell of that right now, Shake is a journeyman at best, Sims gives you size and athleticism but he makes silly mistakes and how the games are so tight, one mistake can lose you a game. The rest of the bench players are G League guys. You want Jacob Topping out there in a meaningful playoff game? That's a disservice to the rest of the team, no disrespect to those guys, but at that point by bringing those guys in, you're telling the team that you're throwing the towel and giving up on that game, they're not good enough to compete.

@@aidenroqz Precious definitely could help fulfill the role of OG while he's out. I would also like to see what Diakite, Daquan Jeffries, Charlie Brown Jr, and maybe even Duane Washington Jr could do with some minutes of actual playoff gameplay. These guys are Knicks for a reason, and the core player roster badly needs some rest, and the Knicks are up 2-0. I don't think it would be throwing in the towel so much as actually fully taking advantage of the bench of Knicks players AND the lead they have, to potentially gain an advantage through the entire rest of the playoffs for the entire team. I can see both sides, but with injuries racking up as fast as they are, another injury to a key player or two--Hart, DiVincenzo, Hartenstein, god forbid, could really be a fatal blow to the team. These guys who've been benched--especially Precious who is a really talented player-- will play their hearts out given half a chance in a playoff game, and the Knicks roster might not be able to keep up this pace all throughout the entire playoffs at this rate--it's on a razor thin wire as it is IMO.

Can you really trust those guys in a tight playoff game? Other than Sims, Burks and Shake, the other guys are G League players. Burks was an ok player to begin with, and now he's a shell of that, and Shake is a journeyman at best. Maybe Sims can give you minutes, but you're also risking mistakes with him, that could cost you a game because the Knicks can't blowout teams the way they are in the playoffs right now.
