Yup, he's proven to be a #1 on a championship contender and the base supporting cast of the Nova boys, OG, Hartenstein, Bogie, Robinson, and McBride is great enough for a push. Randle has been a great #2, but you can't be sure he's at that level coming back from the labrum injury. If he's back in that form he was in around December/January pre-injury, he'll keep the Knicks in championship convos and they can just run it back. If he's not, and there's another #1 on the market like Giannis or Booker, I think Randle will be dealt to get that upgrade.

Jay did not say it was going to be obvious for everybody else who wasn't around Jalen to notice it . Jalen didn't have the size to be a top pick and his incredible talent was not obvious to most NBA scouts . Even Jay Wright said all Jalen needed was a chance in the NBA to blow people away with his talent , Jay knew Jalen was not going to be a top draft pick but he always knew Jalen was going to be a major game changer once given the chance in the NBA.

Jay Will is lying. If you had asked him what Jalen was going to average in the playoffs before it started, he would not have said 36 and 8 and leading the league in scoring. Right now, the dude is unstoppable. I'm not sure Jalen saw this, but right now, he is playing with that 2016 Steph confidence-that's 90s Jordan confidence. When you tap into that, you're unguardable. But only a few ever get there.

I don’t know at this point what they want us to do about minutes. The Knicks are missing Julius, Bojan, Mitch Rob, and now OG is hobbled. The rotation really only has 7-8 viable players. Thibs at this point could try to get a lil rest for these guys but it’s hard when our bench is so depleted. With OG hurt, our bench is basically Deuce McBride and maybe Jericho Sims and Alec Burks

Jalen Brunson leads the post-season in usage rate (36.3%) but Donovan Mitchell is right behind him (36.2%). There is only one single other Knick in the Top 45 in usage rate these playoffs, and it's DiVincenzo at 44 (18.3%). Jalen Brunson is not doing too much, he is doing everything required of him for his team to have a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Agree with Stephen A. If you're players are playing hurt, then you asking them too much. These are not "cut yourself shaving" kinda injuries. Don't get me wrong, I respect those who play hurt. But at the same time should we be pressuring our players to get the win regardless of life long term consequences to their health? Osteoarthritis is no joke. and then what? you get them addicted to painkillers? The answer is yes. We are asking too much of Jalen. As a fan, don't play hurt for my entertainment.
