Fun fact: we already know when the story of Star Rail will end, but almost everyone forgot. Kafka told us that the reason Elio created the trailblazer and is making the trailblazer do this whole journey is to at the end defeat Nanook the Destruction with all the power that they have gathered, and that's the whole reason the Stellaron Hunters are helping the express getting more powerfull, that's why they helped saving the Xianzhou, everything so the trailblazer has enough strength and the allies to "destroy the destruction". So until we get the power to kill a god we know that Star Rail isn't ending any time soon

Though, tbf, if there is one Aeon that could be called an exception depending on how you look at it, it is Akivili. But even still, as a certain Titan would say, he may as well still be a slave, a slave to freedom.

Robin and Sunday at first glance look like the typical combination of "sweet innocent, optimistic girl who sees the beauty of the world" and the "elder brother who's gone through much and wants to protect that girl from the ugliness of the world". And Sunday thinks he and Robin are that. But they're not, that's what makes them so interesting and refreshing. Sunday did go through a lot of crap in the politics of the Penacony Family and the sins of the people visiting or living in Penacony, sure, but he's never gone outside. Robin is the one who's been going outside and seeing the horrors, probably far worse than anything Sunday has seen in Penacony, but also how people with less power and privileges struggle to make the world better. Robin is the realist and Sunday is the idealist here. The subversion is so damn interesting and I love Robin's character SO much. I don't regret changing my mind and deciding to give the spot of first limited 5☆ to Robin. (And happy about the fact that Robin came with literally the first ticket) And I really like how you're also invested in their stories so much and reading into them, and making wonderful observations.

I can feel Mina’s thirst for angst at 39:45. Not gonna lie, I would choose that option if it wasn’t for that beautiful spot she showed us in 2.0.

It would've been even funnier if Pom Pom was like "Muddle Fudger? You mean mother fu-" before being interrupted, just to imply that Pom Pom can curse like a drunk sailor while Boothill can't

For the long pauses for firefly, its because she was out of the dreamscape, and her entropy loss syndrome causes her to vanish slowly. Shes essentially pausing because she is dying, not because of a bug or anything.

@@hayond656 hoyo doesnt explain it but its not too hard to understand that shes literally dying because of entropy loss. People sort of just forgot she has that. Also she does pauses in japanese as well. Idk what other languages have her pauses as well.

@@hayond656 highly doubt it. Whilst the game is not perfect and has its mistakes, the only one i can frankly remember is argentis voicelines not appearing because of a bug in this same patch. Other than that i think the game has been pretty consistent

At this point I honestly might be. Also one perk of being lore invested, is that the entire story of penacony makes complete sense, especially towards the end. I believe if I hadn't read the entirety of swarm disaster I would be extremely confused

It was so fulfilling catching the brilliant set up from previous missions, myriad celestias, and trailers, and see it makes sooo much sense in the present mission. I wanna share this one moment from a game no one has probably heard of... But they had a scene where they got the petite disabled singer girl a gattling gun, and it was the best scene in the game hands down. She screams, "Come and get some mothaf&*ers", it was so out of character it works. And Robin should be able to do that as well. I easily envision her doing that, and it lives rent free in my head now thanks to you :D

44:40 when was it stated that SAM was the first recruit of Elio? cant find any reference anywhere. In addition, with Firefly's trailer and also with her Character Story: Part III, it is heavily implied that Kafka was a stellaron hunter first and she was the one who found firefly.

to answer your question, i generally have no issues following the story and connecting the dots but that just makes me more upset that i missed the big twist in this one, maybe if they sliced this quest in half and we got some time to think about the quest i'd figure it out but i just went with the flow and didnt bother reconsidering the implications of that one little detail

i can make the connections, yes. altho' i have quite a hard time understanding the reason why. which makes sense because we haven't gotten the complete truth about Elio and his "Scripts". i am indeed curious about how the story will unfold and how Elio might burst into the scenes. or maybe he has already been introduced under our noses the entire time. the possibilities. fascinating.

You know, they make Robin seem to be the Idealistic dreamer. When she is more of a Realist than Sunday, Sundays is so idealistic and unrealistic.

Sunday and Robin have similar ideals; Sunday, however, lacks the meaningful critique that Robin has towards the system of Penacony. God this story is great, they cooked so hard.

Does anyone know Mina's audio settings? The audio mixing sounded very good in the final boss fight, but for me the voicelines that are exclusive to the story quest version of boss fights tend to be too quiet. What's worse is that the voicelines of the characters I use in battle (outside of any storyquests) tend to be louder than the voicelines heard in storyquest battles. The music and sound effects end up being too overpowering or the voicelines end up being too overpowering. Anyone got any audio settings recommendations? For reference, I have voice to max (10), sound effects to 6, and music to 6.
