You gotta give it to the character designers on this one, sampo being a walking red flag on first glance is not an easy feat to achieve but they really made it happen. First time I saw him I thought he was shady too out of instinct.

I love how she felt something was off with sampo without even knowing any of the character's lore, it's like hoyo did his design so well that he feel suspicious just with a glance lol

This really highlights Hoyo's design expertise. Mom rating sushang low because "she doesn't know if she wants to be a kid or a grown up" is actually spot-on for her character design intentions. About pela being "up there it's cute, down here not so much" is *also* on character for pela who... writes fanfics in her free time.

Serval is so top tier that after seeing her, Aomama increased her Gepard rating!

For general information, Bailu is NOT a 100+ year old child. She is a CHILD who was technically alive for the last 100+ years but is mentally and physically a child now. This is because her race, Vidyadhara, molts into an egg when they get very old or "die" and loses all memories in the process. Meaning she was very old before turning back into a child again.

Bailu was considered as a very experienced and skillfull doctor in her previous incarnation and she was forced to return to her job.

This video is a perfect exemple of how that is, Mina's mom has no context on Star Rail and rated these characters based on her first impression, and these first impressions worked exactly the way they were designed to.
