Good to hear that your health is improving; not so good to hear that KZread is messing you around, especially as I've just subscribed to Premium to help out creators like you.

Don't know if you've already tried this but I would try contacting the KZread support team on Twitter, preferably in a public tweet and not via DMs. They're surprisingly responsive over there and sadly it's seemingly the only way for a lot of creators to get in touch with a real human at KZread.

It is very sad to hear that youtube might cancell one of the channels. I demand an explanation from youtube because all videos are instructive and they shall not disappear. These channels are some of my favourite chess channels on youtube and the content is also very good.

4:22 You should do some "white/black to play and make the best move" but have the twist now and then be that the turn player is doomed with best play and the other side has something like a mate in 7 with optimal play. However, with the best move the turn player can not only force the other side to make the maximum number of moves to checkmate (7 in this example), but make it tricky for the other side so that bad moves lead to catastrophic loss of material and the original turn player can end up something like a bishop or queen ahead or something.

Unfortunately, that would backfire really hard. KZread randomly demonetizes videos with too much cursing, and many times they remove the video entirely.

I recall you can change in the video settings if it's for kids or not, I didn't know they could force it to be for kids

Yes they can change the setting on their end because of US laws designed to protect children. Legal Eagle did a video about it and it is a minefield of good intentions meeting bad actors running over good people’s free speech.

Alphabet is a horribly unethical company. Them buying and owning YT is extremely disappointing.

So just did a brief Google search and it appears that KZread may automatically change a video to be for kids if it has kids-like graphics. So I'm thinking the Chess Adventures video's (as good as they are) or other videos with animated graphics might be triggering this to happen. With regards to the health stuff.. there is a lot of censorship related to health issues so that is not surprising..

So sorry this happened Nelson! 😢

Rumble would be a great way to protect your ability to have long form videos. A lot of youtubers have a Rumble just in case KZread decides to go after them with their arbitrary rules. Twitter/X is great also.

I haven’t really even heard of rumble. I am not a creator but I do want the creators to do well. KZread sounds like it’s turning into a jackass pardon my speech. From the viewer side is rumble good as well?

Hi Nelson. I´m glad to hear your health is going better. My mother had a cloth like yours and for that she lost her right leg due to amputtation. This is not the first time I heard sombody has problems with YT. Almost the same with another channell Im also subscribed to. Isn´t out there some kind of "YT owners defence assosiation"? If there is not, probably it would be an idea to consider form some. If you rely on YT policy and they don´t like what you are doing, you´ll lose all the time. I enjoy very much your channell as a chess enthusiast. Cheers to you, your family and friends from NE Patagonia, Argentina. BTW: Marry Xmas and a HNY.

I have heard content creators of similar size mention having a case manager at YT that they can contact with issues. I assume you dont have one which is also strange.

Registered heath professionals have had the same issue and those that were not have “gotten away” with bad advice for a while even during the “Rona”🦠 peak period. The persons atYT have to check into it because the Automated system acts weird the moment medical is involved.

I got it after KxR. I don't usually do that well on your puzzles. I saw that white sacrificed the knight and the rook in order to force a stalemate, and it reminded me of another game I saw several years ago, but I have never been able to find it. Maybe you've seen it. One player, say white, is in big trouble. His king can't move. He trades or sacrifices three (I think) pieces, each being taken by pawns. But those three pawns are now blocked by white's pawns, and of course, white's pawns are blocked by them. His king still can't move. White only has a rook and puts it right in front of the black king for check. If the king or another piece takes the rook, stalemate. The king moves across the 8th rank, and white moves in front of it for check again -- perpetual check. If you or anyone else can give me a link to that game, I would love to have that position on my computer.

if you are demonetized, just take down the video, and share it on your own platform, leaving a short video with link.

This one is not set for kids. I noticed the comment problem when I set some of my sailing and knot-tying videos for kids and switched it back when I realized that this turned off comments. I've purchased a set of your courses and am working on them. I look forward to your posts here and hope they can continue.

I have my youtube Channell since 2009 and its amazing how you newbies conquered it over me in less time. Way more subscribers, likes, shares, comments, not to mention dislikes. You guys understand how to monetize youtube. I never thought that one could make a living from youtube. I dont even know how KZread makes money. My mind hasn't opened up to the vastness of things. In my community I dont see people making purchases from KZread Ads; but then again, KZread ads really target people in America.

I was just thinking that the adds that often seem to come up for your videos are for kid's fast food, including this one until i clicked to view on youtube. Also not possible to comment on them ( until you click through to KZread. Is someone reselling your videos?

KZread obviously suspects you of wrongthink.

KZread have this problem with videos made for kids for a long time, and it's even more threatening than it seems, because if they set q video that shouldn't be for kids, as a video for KZread kids, they can later take down this video because it's set for kids. Some people says that using swears in description works to avoid it, but it puts a chance of age restriction, which is even worse. So there is no good way to defend yourself.

So KZread has given you a puzzle you cannot solve? You're not the first person to have this problem

Was the video that got re-listed as for Children only the one were you talked about your health problems?

I could solve this puzzle because at the first glance I saw that I'm not winning and atleast I can get a draw if I promote to a rook in corner which can't even move and it's stalemate
