    1. Put buildings on each patch of dirt in the custom biome 2. Do hobbit hole interiors (I think it would be really cool if some of the hobbit holes were public buildings used by everybody)

I do too. It became a lot to keep track of each episode and I was worried I would run out of ideas for things to add. Maybe we will return to this in the future now that I'm more confident in my building skills :)

So many bases people build are castles or cities or whatever but are always empty. So I appreciate this a lot. Villagers alone add so much to making bases feel alive. The things I would add are like pathways/landings along the walls. Lifts to move stuff up and down. Some giant crystal structure/huge ore vein in the walls. Tunnels branching off in other directions. Because dwarves need somewhere to mine. So many things. Oh and a Balrog

  • @LordAxalon

This is exactly the sort of thing I was thinking of. Large archways, detailed pillars, I'd go for more a natural river style pooring into it rather than pipes though. I think pipes would be too modern, for this style I feel it would fit better with something like a sewer way opening. Really over grown inside so it doesn't have to go too far back, something that could eventually lead off to another build etc. Edit: bubble vaters would work really well though I totally agree, different coloured glass ones to fit with the slime pallet he's got going on.

Adding a bit of verticality might be nice. Maybe some upside down buildings, pillars, trees etc hanging from the ceiling over the hole? I like the idea of a central large pillar spiraling around with structures/greenery on it either rising up or hanging down but I'm unsure how much it would obscure the view of everything. It helps when it's easy to make a nice thumbnail of the build What block palette do you intend for the dwarven stuff? Earthy, stone castle, steampunk, or something else?
