Dear Lieberfriend, I'm a bi girl, 19 years old, and I'm just like you. Most of the time I find myself romantically attracted to guys but the idea of having sex with them is not very appealing to me. However, I'm very VERY attracted to girls sexually, and I find it easier to be intimate with a girl but can't commit to them emotionally. Matt just put my thoughts into words so well, I hope you found help here. I want to tell you something I've come to realize during the past year: You and me, we are both so young, there is no hurry to find the one right person for you. Go out and explore the world, find the right kind of relationship that works for you. I'm still finding my way and I have a feeling the journey will be long but rewarding in the end.

That's so interesting. Would you consider yourself bi? Do you think you can ever be able to emotionally have feelings for a girl?

I really love hearing the stories of LGBTQ+ people from other parts of the globe. I definitely come from a place of privilege being born gay in the US in the time we live in so being more aware of the plight of individuals like the person mentioned in this video is very important to increasing my understanding of where I stand in the world and how I can better educate myself to treat others with respect and dignity. Thanks for being an active ally and a great person Matt and keep up the great work.

Love how much u care about everyone, we need more people like you where they think of people as people. Let people live the way they own, as long as they are not hurting others.

You are definitely not alone! I'm heteromantic but bisexual, you could absolutely be heteromantic but homosexual (or bisexual, if it's mostly.) I'm not a huge fan of labels, but there definitely are labels that fit you, and you're not alone!

Wow, that was really well articulated and thought out, Matt. You definitely gave the best possible advice for this situation, and you put it as lightly and empathetically as you could. Honestly, hearing this story makes me think of myself in the past. I'm a gay male who's completely comfortable with that, but I used to be a scared kid who feared being gay. I wanted a family, a wife, a normal "life". It takes time and an open mind to understand that being gay doesn't deprive you of any of that (replace the wife with a husband, however... or vice versa if you're female), and coming to that realization was the most powerful moment of my life. But not everybody is in that exact situation and different roads are always there to explore. Hope everybody finds their way.

Wish everyone the best. Sidenote: the guy could also let the chick have a side boyfriend for the sexual aspect. Assuming they are both ok with the open relationship aspect.

Dear Lieberfriend, just know that you're not alone. I know what you are possibly going through being LGBT+ in Greece. I am glad that there are people in the community that reach out and ask questions that are considered taboo here. Your sexuality is complex, as it is everyone's inner sexual world. Relax and let go of labels if you think they confine you. And don't worry. I'm sure that one day, marriage equality will come to the country. All we can do to spead up the process is to come out and let the world know that we are here and that we want to live our lives as equals. I wish you good luck and happiness. Don't worry, you'll figure this out. :)

If he's ok with not having sex, somebody who is asexual might be an option. I suspect that he might be able to emotionally connect with a guy if he let himself though. It sounds like he's fighting it due to the homophobia of the region. But I could be wrong. I hope things work out and I hope conditions improve for the LGBTQ community in that area.Also, another great video Matt. You're very good at this.

Dang Matt most of your videos don't apply to me but they're amazing!

I am 27 yrs old and I married a beautiful young woman who was also in love with another woman. Yes, I was very shocked that she had not told me this before we had gotten married. I got over the shock eventually and she then convinced me to allow her girlfriend into our relationship and furthermore to live with us. The relationship has been going on for a couple of years and we are really happy. We never place the one above the other and plan our lovemaking to agreed times. They have said that I should try same sex to experience that I, like most men find it liberating with a desire to have male and female. I am struggling with fact that I want to try and have a same sex experience, but as I am sure you understand, I am scared and have no idea how I would initiate the "hookup"??? Thanks for this video. I feel like an asshole with this comment.

Is an open relationship out of the question? She can get some sex that she wants and so can you. The lieberfriend has to talk to her.if she doesn't know she can't react.
